The Thessalonians' Case
by Hany Nabil Sadik
It is clear that the Thessalnian church was born "persecuted" and linked with afflictions, and from the first letter to the Thessalonians; we can notice easily that the church in Thessalonica suffered mainly from their countrymen, and not from the Jews (1Thess. 2: 14).

The Seven-Year Reign Of Antichrist Deception
by Henry Bechthold
The seven-year reign of antichrist is a popular prophetic teaching that blatantly contradicts the Bible, for the Scriptures clearly state that the antichrist reigns for three and one-half years, not seven years (Revelation 13:5; Revelation 11:1-7). In fact, the idea of a seven-year reign of antichrist was arrived at by manipulating Daniel's seventy-week prophecy concerning Israel and the Messiah in Daniel 9:24-27.

A Letter To My Address
by Dale Linton
We are living in a world and a society that promotes answers that are not providing solutions. Life is increasingly becoming a maze to where it seems impossible to find true fulfillment. Then every once in a while God will channel some unlikely individual to say something so simple, yet so profound, like this:

Armageddon: Earth's Final War
by Henry Bechthold
Armageddon is the great final battle on earth before the return of Jesus Christ. Is it a battle between men and nations, as is taught by most prophecy teachers? From the time of mankind's original compromise with sin in the Garden of Eden, has earth's "true" great conflict been a struggle between men, or has it been a struggle between good and evil? Has the real controversy been between nations, or has it been between Jesus Christ and Satan? Was it not "Lucifer", Satan's name in heaven before he sinned, who said that he wanted to exalt his own throne above the stars of God; moreover, who said that he wanted to be like the "Most High" (Isaiah 14:12-14)? Lucifer/Satan wanted to be God! In fact, the Bible records that the "first war" was fought in Heaven between God's holy angelic forces and Satan with his "fallen" angelic army (Revelation 12:7-9).

Judgment On America
by Henry Bechthold
In June of 2000, I preached a message titled, "Judgment of America". I stated that "a storm is coming upon America" because of the following abominations: the practice of infanticide via abortion, honoring homosexuality as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, respecting other false religions as equal with Christianity, exalting the "Big Bang" theory as Creator rather than God, and expelling the Bible and God from our public schools and other public institutions. I stated that "the storm was coming", judgment from God. Fifteen months later America was humbled by the terrorist attacks on 9-11.

Are We To Avoid Backslidden Christians?

Unfaithful Pastors And Leaders: How Should We Respond To Them
by Henry Bechthold
Although our natural inclination is to look to our religious leaders for spiritual insight and direction, we should not be surprised to find them adrift in compromise and sin. The Bible reveals that the religious hierarchy has gone astray throughout biblical history. There has been a long line of unfaithful and disobedient priests, prophets, apostles, teachers and ministers throughout both Old and New Testament times; furthermore, we are told that this problem will continue to worsen as we approach the end of time.

The Antichrist: How Will He Come?
by Henry Bechthold
One of the undeniable quandaries regarding the antichrist, is how will he arrive in such a way and at such a time that will make Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims all be willing to accept this same man as their leader? If he arrives as a Jew or a Christian, the other major world religions will reject him. Likewise, if he arrives as a Hindu or a Buddhist, he will be rejected by the other world religions. Of course, the same would be true if he arrives as a Muslim. How can he arrive in a manner that will make 500 million Buddhists, two billion Christians, one billion Hindus, one and one-half billion Muslims and millions of Jews all welcome him as their mutual leader?

Sabbath Or Sunday?
by Henry Bechthold
The Sabbath is declared to be the seventh day of the week in the Ten Commandments. Exodus 20:8-11 states: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."

Women Pastors And Elders
by Henry Bechthold
Women pastors and elders are now being ordained throughout most Christian denominations. However, some still maintain that men and women have been assigned different roles in the Church, with men being designated by God for leadership; although the majority insists that this "male leadership" exclusivity does not apply to the New Testament Church.
Numerous scriptural references have been presented to attempt to prove God's choice of men for leadership; simultaneously, arguments have been offered in an effort to rebut these scriptures. By and large, these arguments have been accepted and endorsed by the vast majority of the Church, thus resulting in the ordination of women in churches across America. It is my assertion that we need to revisit this issue and reexamine the biblical evidence.

Eternal Torment In Hell: Is It Biblical?
by Henry Bechthold
Is eternal torment in hell the final fate of lost sinners? Although the wicked will indeed be cast into hell, the Bible is clear that they will not suffer in hell's flames throughout eternity. The Scriptures plainly state that lost sinners will die in hell, not agonize in eternal torment. At the end of this article, I will provide a "link" that presents dozens of texts that prove beyond question that this eternal torment doctrine is contradicted by the overwhelming weight of biblical evidence.

Once Saved Always Saved
by Henry Bechthold
Is the "Once Saved, Always Saved" doctrine biblically correct? Is it true that, once a person has placed their faith in Jesus, they can never depart from their relationship with Christ and can never be lost? According to the Bible, the answer is a resounding "NO"!

The Glorious Gospel Of Jesus Christ
by Henry Bechthold
2nd Corinthians 4:4, in the King James Translation, refers to the gospel as the "glorious gospel of Christ". As you will see, the gospel is all about Jesus Christ, and it is indeed glorious, because He is glorious.
It was Jesus Christ Himself who first proclaimed the gospel in the New Testament. He said, "The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel" (Mark 1:15).
The word gospel literally means "good news". And, right at the beginning of the book of Romans, which is viewed by most theologians as a theological treatise on the gospel, the Apostle Paul states that the gospel of God is concerning His Son Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1-3). The gospel is, therefore, the "good news" about Jesus Christ.

Preterism: Is It Biblical?
by Henry Bechthold
Hank Hanegraaff endorsed preterism a few years ago, which brought it somewhat into so-called mainstream Christianity. What is "preterism"? It is a doctrine teaching that all prophecy has been fulfilled, including the prophecies in the book of Revelation regarding the antichrist and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Preterism includes many unique and strange teachings.

Religious Titles And Exalting Men
by Henry Bechthold
Religious titles, which exalt mere men, are commonly used throughout the contemporary Christian Church. Why is this a concern?
