Ephesians 4:17-32 and Truth, Righteousness, Holiness and the Victory Over All Sin
by Karl Kemp
Ephesians 4:17-32 is one of the most significant passages in the New Testament that instructs and exhorts Christians with the enablement and requirement (which is a great privilege!) to walk in the truth, righteousness, and holiness of God with the victory over all sin, by grace through faith, through salvation in Christ Jesus. We are called to put off the old man once for all and to put on the new man in Christ once for all.

1 Peter 1:13-19; 2:24-25 and Righteousness, Holiness, and Victory Over Sin
by Karl Kemp
1 Peter 1:13-19 and 2:24-25 are verses are of key importance on the super-important topic of righteousness, holiness, redemption, and the victory over all sin through the all-important atoning death of the Lamb of God. For one thing, the apostle Peter exhorts us to be holy in all our behavior as God is holy. We discuss being judged according to our work.

Colossians 1:9-14; Saints in the Light; Redemption and "Aphesis"
by Karl Kemp
Colossians 1:9-14 are verses of key importance on the super-important topic of righteousness, holiness, redemption, and the victory over all sin. "Aphesis" is the Greek noun translated "forgiveness" in verse 14, but (as we will discuss) aphesis means much more than forgiveness in this verse (and some other verses too).

The Teachings of Jesus - Mark's Perspective
by Wayne Childress
The teachings of Jesus are found throughout the gospel accounts and all contain a common thread. What many may not know that there is a reason why the account from Mark is short - even with a false ending added later.
-
The Teachings of Jesus - Luke's Perspective
by Wayne Childress
The teachings of Jesus were presented by more than just his Apostles - Luke and Mark also gave us gospel accounts. Luke himself says his is in essence a historical account, yet it shows the common thread that all accounts share.
-
Teachings of Jesus - John's Perspective
by Wayne Childress
John is not considered as one of the Synoptic gospels and as such is unique; yet, a single thread does run thru all the gospels - even John.

The Teachings of Jesus - Matthew's Perspective
by Wayne Childress
Though guided by YHWH each Apostle shows us the teachings of Jesus from their own perspective. Proof now exists that Matthew was originally written in Hebrew and as such is most likely the first written book of the NT.

Some Comments on "Four Blood Moons" by John Hagee, Part 4
by Karl Kemp
I'll briefly summarize what John Hagee says about the tetrads of four blood moons of 1493-94; 1949-50; 1967-68; and 2014-15 that are the only four tetrads that coincide with Passover and Tabernacles in that 500 year period. Does the Bible speak of any things (signs) that will take place before the Lord Jesus returns? We'll discuss the answer to this very important question here in Part 4.

Some Comments on "Four Blood Moons" by John Hagee, Part 3
by Karl Kemp
We discuss some technical details involving lunar and solar eclipses that are relevant to the four blood moons of 2014 and 2015 and the total solar eclipse of 2015. And we discuss the supposed "thirty-nine stripes" that the Lamb of God bore for us in His all-important atoning death. Is the rider on the white horse in Rev. 6:2 Antichrist? Does Rev. 19:11 picture the Lord Jesus' return to the earth at the end of Daniel's 70th week? If so why do we already see the blood of His enemies on His robe in Rev. 19:13?

Some Comments on "Four Blood Moons" by John Hagee, Part 2
by Karl Kemp
We discuss Matt. 24:29-31, which are some of the most important prophetic verses that deal with the return of the Lord Jesus and the rapture here in Part 2. We also discuss Joel 2:30-32; Rev. 6:12-13; 2 Thess. 2:1; and God's salvation of the repentant end-time remnant of Israel.

Some Comments on "Four Blood Moons" by John Hagee, Part 1 (of 4 Parts)
by Karl Kemp
John Hagee, in his 2013 book "Four Blood Moons," says that the four total lunar eclipses that will take place on Passover and Tabernacles in 2014 and 2015 (which doesn't happen very often) and the total solar eclipse in 2015 will fulfill the prophecies of Joel 2:30-31; Acts 2:19, 20; and Matthew 24:29-31 about the sun's being darkened and the moon's being turned into blood (or darkened). Those four blood moons of 2014-15 and total solar eclipse of 2015 may prove to be significant, but I don't believe there is any possibility they will fulfill, or even partially fulfill, the prophecies of Joel 2:30, 31; Acts 2:19, 20; or Matthew 24:29-31, which are super-important prophecies.

Ephesians 1:3, 4, 7; Holy and Blameless; Redemption and "Aphesis"
by Karl Kemp
Ephesians 1:3, 4, 7 are verses of key importance on the super-important topic of righteousness, holiness, redemption, and the victory over all sin. "Aphesis" is the Greek noun translated "forgiveness" in verse 7, but (as we will discuss) aphesis means more than forgiveness in this verse (and some other verses too).
