Isaiah's Little Apocalypse, Chapters 24-27, Part 4
by Karl Kemp
We cover Isa. 26:9-21 here in Part 4. These verses prophesy, for one thing, of the resurrection and birth into the fullness of eternal life that will take place for true Israel and for the elect of the nations at the end of this age. Although you wouldn't know this from these verses, the elect of the nations won't be resurrected and glorified until the end of the millennial kingdom.

Isaiah's Little Apocalypse, Chapters 24-27, Part 3
by Karl Kemp
We discuss Isa. 26:1-8 and 65:17-25 here in Part 3. God always takes care of those who look to Him and wait for Him to come to save and to judge. We will discuss the difference between the worldwide kingdom that God will establish after His end-time judgment of the world and the eternal state of Revelation chapters 21, 22.

Isaiah's Little Apocalypse, Chapters 24-27, Part 2
by Karl Kemp
God will destroy the city of this world (compare Babylon in the book of Revelation) in His end-time judgment of the world and establish His worldwide kingdom centered in Jerusalem, eventually glorified new Jerusalem. This saving, recreating work will include the elect of the nations, along with the people of God's true Israel, which is represented by the woman of Revelation chapter 12 and includes all true Christians.

Isaiah's Little Apocalypse, Chapters 24-27, Part 1 (of 6 Parts)
by Karl Kemp
Isaiah chapters 24-27, which are sometimes called "Isaiah's Little Apocalypse," prophesy of God's intense end-time shaking/judgment of the world, including His judgment of Satan and his hosts and the people who are committed to evil without repentance. There is an emphasis on God's leaving a humbled, repentant remnant of the nations for salvation after this judgment, along with His salvation of the end-time remnant of Israel.

Matthew Chapters 24 and 25, Part 6
by Karl Kemp
The brothers who are with the Lord Jesus here in Matt. 25:31-46 are Christians. Now they are glorified, but throughout this entire age His people have often lived for Him in difficult circumstances in a world that has often persecuted Christians. The Lord Jesus shows His great love for His brothers by telling the sheep that what they have done for Christians they have done for Him.

Matthew Chapters 24 and 25, Part 5
by Karl Kemp
Here in Part 5 and in Part 6 we will discuss Matt. 25:31-46, the verses that prophesy of Christ's end-time judgment of the nations (the nations being distinct from God's true Israel, which is represented by the woman in Revelation chapter 12); He will separate the sheep from the goats. The sheep will have a place in God's eternal kingdom, as pictured in Revelation chapters 21 and 22.

Matthew Chapters 24 and 25, Part 4
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss the parable of the ten virgins and the parable of the talents here in Part 4. Both parables teach the all-important lesson that we must do the things required of us throughout our lives on earth (by the grace of God in Christ), so that we will always be ready for Christ's return, regardless of when He returns, including being prepared for a lengthy delay in His return.

Matthew Chapters 24 and 25, Part 3
by Karl Kemp
We will start at Matt. 24:30 and finish this chapter here in Part 3. The Lord Jesus comes on the clouds with the sounding of a great trumpet in verses 30, 31, and the angels gather His elect to Him in the rapture. The Lord Jesus speaks of several definite signs that will point to His coming in this chapter, but He also strongly exhorts all Christians with the need to always be ready for His return, signs or no signs, since we don't know when He will return. From our perspective, we can see that this exhortation was intended, at least for the most part, for the many generations of Christians who live and die before definite end-time signs appear. Those who heard Jesus thought He was coming in their generation.

Matthew Chapters 24 and 25, Part 2
by Karl Kemp
The abomination of desolation, which will come to pass about the time of the sounding of the sixth trumpet of the book of Revelation, will signal that the time for the short great tribulation has arrived. Most of the light coming from the sun and moon will be blocked out by the large amounts of smoke and dust generated by the intense warfare of the short great tribulation.

Matthew Chapters 24 and 25, Part 1 (of 6 Parts)
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss Matt. 24:1-13 here in part 1. Matthew chapter 24 is a very important prophetic chapter that deals with the return of the Lord Jesus with the clouds and the rapture with the sounding of a great trumpet. This chapter puts some emphasis on definite end-time signs (especially the abomination of desolation and the short great tribulation) that will indicate that His coming is right at the door. But, at the same time, the Lord Jesus strongly exhorts and warns all Christians of all generations (back then they weren't thinking of many generations; they thought He was coming soon) that we cannot wait for definite end-time signs to get ready for His coming. He demands that His disciples always stay ready for His coming, since (for one thing) we don't know when He is coming. Those exhortations and warnings were intended (at least for the most part) for the large number of Christians who (as it has turned out) live and die before definite end-time signs appear.

Revelation Chapters 20-22, Part 6
by Karl Kemp
We discuss Revelation chapter 22, starting with verse 5 here in Part 6. For one thing, these verses emphasize the need for all Christians to live in the righteousness and holiness of God on a continuous basis, by the grace of God in Christ, so that we will always be ready for His coming. He said, for one thing, "Behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward [recompense] is with Me to render to every man according to what he has done" (Rev. 22:12). We must (we have the privilege to) believe the truth and live the truth.

Revelation Chapters 20-22, Part 5
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss Rev. 21:18-22:4 here in Part 5. There is a strong emphasis in these verses on the glory of new Jerusalem, which radiates the glory of the triune God. We, the people of true Israel, will dwell in eternal glory ("Christ in you, the hope of glory" Col. 1:27) forever and ever, which includes reigning with God as His bond-servants.

Revelation Chapters 20-22, Part 4
by Karl Kemp
At the beginning of the eternal state, God and His new Jerusalem comes down to the new earth to, for one thing, dwell among the now fully saved and glorified peoples of the nations, who are distinct from true Israel. In Rev. 21:9 the angel said, "I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb" and he showed John "the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God" in 21:10. The holy, fully glorified city is called "the bride" because it is the city (and eternal home) of the people of true Israel, and true Israel is "the bride" of Christ. The triune God dwells in this city! That is why it is full of glory! We couldn't possibly have a greater destiny than this, which includes reigning with God and His Son forever!

Revelation Chapters 20-22, Part 3
by Karl Kemp
Here in Part 3 we finish the verse-by-verse discussion of Revelation chapter 20 and start chapter 21. The primary topic is God's salvation plans for the nations, the nations being distinct from God's true Israel. For one thing, true Israel will reign forever after being glorified. True Israel includes all the believers from Old Testament days and all true Christians, including those who will become Christians after the mid-week rapture, which will center in the end-time remnant of the nation Israel ("all Israel will be saved" [Rom. 11:26]). God will keep all the covenant promises He made to Israel.

Revelation Chapters 20-22, Part 2
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss the Gog and Magog rebellion at the end of the millennium, and we will discuss God's salvation plans for the nations, including the viewpoint that the names of some of the people who died without having become Christians (people who were not confronted with the gospel) will be found in the book of life at the great-white-throne judgment.

WHAT IS THE "HEART" OF MAN
by Guy Humphries
Proverbs says, "For as he thinketh in his HEART, so is he
the HEART which is between your ears
The HEART gives a human the ability to think, plan, will, feel, worship and interact with God and other people
So do evil desires, envy, lying, pride and foolishness. Everything evil comes from inside a person's HEART. Paraphrase of Mark 7:20-23

How Do We Forgive
by M. J. Andre
Once you are ready to make the decision to move forward in forgiveness, understand that the process could take a while to get through. You have to change your perception of the situation, meaning stop focussing on the fact that you were wronged. Noticed that I did not say to deny the wrong that was done to you but instead you change your focus on God's standard. Because as long as you insist on keeping the focus on you and how someone else hurt you, then, you put yourself in the same boat as the offender because you too you are wrong with God and you are sinning. The willingness to turn your heart toward God says that you are ready to trust His dealing of the matter instead of trusting your own judgement.

Revelation Chapters 20-22, Part 1 (of 6 Parts)
by Karl Kemp
These three chapters, the last three chapters of the Bible, are packed with super-important eschatological details. These details include the millennial kingdom and the fact that the devil will be bound in the abyss throughout the millennial kingdom until he is released at the end to instigate a major rebellion. We learn of God's salvation plans for the nations (the nations being distinct from true Israel, who will reign) and of the great-white-throne judgment at the end of the millennium. We learn all of this, and more, in Revelation chapter 20, and Revelation chapters 21 and 22 add a whole lot more, including many verses that deal with God's salvation plans for the nations.

God vs. Satan, where did the battle begin?
by Heather Moon
Ever wonder what God's view of Satan is? What happened to create this war between good and evil, anyway? This all comes down to the basic concept of dualism.

THE LIVING HOPE
by Dr Surya Kumar Daimari
'The Living Hope', ie, the Hope of the coming of the Lord as the theme of 'The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians' has a significant bearing in itself since people at that time believed in the imminence of the "Parousia" (appearance) of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some of the Believers had even quit their jobs to prepare for the Lord's coming. The believers in Thessalonica were caught in frenzied speculations on the exact time of the second coming of Christ.
Many a baffling questions had troubled their minds such as
--- will they miss out the life after death?
--- will they forfeit a share in the glory of the Lord Jesus at His second advent?

Revelation 14:6-19:21, Part 8
by Karl Kemp
We discuss Rev. 19:12-21 here in Part 8. Here, under the seventh and last bowl of wrath, the Lord Jesus and His army (with the emphasis on the raptured, glorified saints who are with Him) judges and totally removes Antichrist and all those committed to him.

100% God and 100% Man
by Heather Moon

Revelation 14:6-19:21, Part 7
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss Rev. 19:1-11 here in Part 7. In verses 1-6 God is praised for the fact that Babylon the great harlot has been judged and totally removed by His judgments. Then we read of the marriage of the Lamb of God with His bride, who is the other woman of the book of Revelation, the glorious woman of Revelation chapter 12, true Israel.
-
Revelation 14:6-19:21, Part 6
by Karl Kemp
We discuss Revelation chapter 18 here in Part 6. This chapter further deals with the identity of, and the judgment and total removal of, Babylon the great. This judgment is such a major feature of God's end-time judgment of the world that He devotes some three chapters of the book of Revelation to this topic.

Redeeming Nazareth!! A brief look at John 1:43-51
by Kennedy Jacob
The calling of Philip and the invitation of Nathanael
"Can anything good come from Nazareth"? This was the question that represented the kind of mindset that "humble beginnings never work or that smaller places cannot produce leaders. But here is Nazareth, a place considered lowly, but God appointed that Christ be recognized to have come from there, giving this city a different position. Of course, a better one!

Revelation 14:6-19:21, Part 5
by Karl Kemp
We discuss Rev. 17:3-18 here in Part 5. We learn more about Babylon the harlot in these verses, and we learn some very important details about Antichrist, the ten horns, and Antichrist's super-evil kingdom that will start in the middle of Daniel's 70th week, not long after he has come back from the dead.
-
Revelation 14:6-19:21, Part 4
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss Rev. 16:20-17:2 here in Part 4. Antichrist and all who worship him are destroyed under God's seventh and last bowl of wrath, and we will begin to discuss the identity of Babylon, the great harlot. She represents a whole lot more than any one city. God's judgment and total removal of Babylon is a major feature of His end-time judgment of the world. He devotes some three chapters of the book of Revelation to the great harlot and her judgment.

Revelation 14:6-19:21, Part 3
by Karl Kemp
We will discuss Rev. 16:6-19 here in Part 3. Three demons come out of the mouth of the dragon (the devil), Antichrist, and the false prophet to gather God's enemies to Har-Magedon under the sixth bowl of God's wrath. Then they are destroyed under the seventh and last bowl of wrath.
