. Because of some of the thorny issues that will come to light, many have rather chosen to ignore or rationalize away the True State of the Evangelical Church in the U.S.A. And yet the truth of the matter remains, until the truth be known there is little that can be done to change it's course and thereby be liberated from these hindrances. "Your Prophets have seen vain and foolish things for you: and they have not uncovered your iniquity, TO BRING BACK YOUR CAPTIVITY; but have seen for you visions of falsehood and seduction" Lamentations 2:14

. Much like an alcoholic, who refuses to admit that he has a drinking problem. Having difficulty holding a regular job, struggling with broken family ties, and has become a veritable vagabond wondering through the streets of life. Yet insisting that he doesn't have a problem! Even offended when someone would so much as imply that he has a problem to begin with

Characteristics of the Church in BABYLON!!!

.Pastors with an Undue reliance upon money (tithes & offerings) and people of influence rather than upon being rich in a personal faith - in our Savior "Jesus Christ" and encouraging their followers by example

. Literal interpretation of Scripture is minimized or diluted so much so that its difficult for anyone to be convicted of any sin other than in abstract terms

. Your Prophets (Pastors) have seen vain and foolish things for you: and they have not uncovered your iniquity, TO BRING BACK YOUR CAPTIVITY; but have seen for you visions of falsehood and seduction Lamentations 2:14

. Frequently the Pastor will run his church as though it were his own kingdom, based upon his views or the established views of his respective Denomination.
- "The Prophets (Pastors) Prophecy falsely, and the Priests rule on their own authority; And my people love it so! But what will you do at the end of it?" ---Jeremiah 5:31

. Frequently the "Pastor", while failing in many of his responsibilities in ministering the way JESUS INSTRUCTED those who would Shepherd HIS FLOCK! Will rather Elevate & Exalt his position as 'Pastor (Rabbi)'! Matthew 23:8 " But do not be called Rabbi; for ONE is your Teacher; and you are all brothers. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for ONE is your FATHER: HE who is in heaven. 10 Do not be called Leaders; for ONE is your Leader, that is CHRIST. 11 But the greatest among you shall be your servant.

. IN BABYLON there's an increasing unwillingness to hear GOD's WORD Directly! But prefer hearing the teachings of their own Evangelical Spiritual Leaders "Behold days are coming, declares the LORD GOD, When I will send a famine on the land, not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather FOR HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD!"- Amos 8:11 (After all doesn't faith come from HEARINGGOD's WORD!) "So faith comes from HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD OF CHRIST!!! Romans 10:17

. IN BABYLON spiritual leaders will frequently qualify their ministers based upon the acquisition of knowledge and credentials rather than on a Heavenly calling inspired by God Himself !!! "For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge" Romans 10:2 "Always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH"- 2 Timothy 3:7 - The inevitable consequences of a Pastor serving in his own strength rather than in the Spirit of God is manifold. To include holding any real influence of the Holy Spirit at bay or at a distance

. IN BABYLON The god of this world/Babylon (satan) has been most successful in blinding the eyes of the unbelieving, especially those who claim to be Christian into believing "I'm already a Christian & I know GOD loves me, even if I'm disobedient to HIS WORD!!! Besides this whole idea that we are living in Babylon is nonsense.." Luke 24:11 "But these words appeared to them as nonsense and they would not believe them" --- 2nd Corinthians 4:4 "in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the LIGHT of the GOSPEL of the GLORY of CHRIST, who is the IMAGE OF GOD!" "Let the Priests, the Lord's Ministers, Weep between the PORCH and the ALTAR, And let them say, "SPARE YOUR PEOPLE, OH LORD and do not make your inheritance a reproach, a byword among the Nations. Why should they among the peoples say, Where is their GOD"? Joel 2:17

~ THE LORD'S MODEL FOR MINISTRY ~

"I am the GOOD SHEPHERD; the good Shepherd lays down HIS LIFE for the Sheep. 12 He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the Sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the Sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the Sheep. 14 "I am THE GOOD SHEPHERD, and I know MY OWN and MY OWN know ME, 15 even as the FATHER knows ME and I know the FATHER: and I lay down MY LIFE for the Sheep." ~ CHAPTER 50 & 51~
- Leave Babylon before the LORD judges the Country and save your lives
- The LORD shall punish her Idols
- From the LORD shall destroyers come to Babylon
- The LORD shall make her Princes and Wise men her Governors and her Mighty men Drunk that they may SLEEP a PERPETUAL SLEEP
- The LORD shall Dispatch Foreigners to Babylon that they may winnow her and may devastate her Land for on Every Side they will be Opposed to Babylon (i.e. Al Quaeda, and other extremist Islamic Terrorist Groups, etc. while we wait in our American Dream Comfort Zone lulled into indifference/Spiritual Sleep) putting all of our trust & confidence not in the LORD, but in our Duly Elected Officials to resolve our National Difficulties. - Lamentations 4:17b"In our watching we have watched for a Nation that could not save us" - When in fact the LORD is the ONE stirring our enemies to be increasingly more aggressive, in their attacks against the U.S.

-Just as HE did with HIS PEOPLE ISRAEL in times past-) Disciplining them for their turning away from their GOD!!!
- After all (besides Israel) what other country has been more blessed of GOD, than the U.S.

- Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD, Intoxicating all the earth Pg-5

- The LORD has aroused the spirit of the Kings of the Medes (Arab World), Because HIS purpose is against Babylon to destroy it

- "Oh you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your End has come, The measure of your end has come, The measure of your end."

- Babylon is a land of idols

- "In those days and at that time, "declares the LORD," the sons of Israel will come, both they and the sons of Judah as well; they will go along weeping as they go, and it will be the LORD their GOD they will seek. They will ask for the way to Zion,(Israel) turning their faces in its direction. (The fate of the entire world rests upon the Final Re-gathering of the Jewish people to their GOD given land, the land of Israel!!! ~For the 1st time in over 2000 yrs. on May 14th, 1948 the Nation of Israel became the homeland for God's Jewish People. - IN the last 40 Yrs. over 100,000 Jewish People have come to Proclaim JESUS has their Long Awaited Jewish Messiah! A phenomenon not witnessed in over 2000 yrs when the Church of "Messiah Jesus" was birthed on the day of Pentecost (Shavuot) in Jerusalem !!! -

- "Draw up your battle lines against Babylon on every side, All you who bend the bow; Shoot at her, do not be sparing with your arrows, For she has sinned against the LORD."

- "I set a snare for you, and you were also caught, Oh Babylon, While you yourself were not aware; You have been found and also seized Because you have engaged IN CONFLICT with the LORD."

" I spoke to you in your prosperity; But you said, ' I will not listen!' This has been your practice from your youth, That you have not obeyed MY voice. 22a "The wind will sweep away all your shepherds. And your lovers will go into captivity !!!

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, " I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing, "and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I advise you to buy from ME gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. 20a Behold, I stand at the door and knock..".
