Burning Desire

My heart is heavy with burning desire
To worship you oh Lord
I cannot imagine anything else
That could be more worthwhile

You gave me life with sustaining breath
Creating me strong and well
You blessed me with so many gifts
More than I can ever want or use

Why did you chose to set me apart
With family, friends, and love
While others suffer, going without
In is this difficult world alone

Please show me Lord how I can be
A blessing to those I know
Giving you glory in all I do
With a grateful heart and will
