SOUL DANCE (excerpt): Lie in the Darkness, or Light in the Darkness?

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.--I John 1:5, NASB95

"Light" is revelation; truth, and the only real truth is from God's Word, the Holy Bible.  He is the Spirit of Truth Who lovingly works with our hearts to expose to us where we've been deceived, so we can enjoy more of the ZOE life (John 10:10) that LORD Jesus died to give us! 

In this day of gross deception, which the LORD said would come just before the end of the world and the certain return of the King Jesus, we must have the truth.

God's Word is Truth!

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. - I Corinthians 15:33, KJV

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. - Galatians 6:7, KJV

Jesus, God's Son, the only Savior of the world, and Himself the Living Word, is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes  to the Father but through Me.--John 14:6, KJV

Only Jesus can give us the Life that every person was born to experience, the Zoe life, or "life as God has it"; the life that God created for Adam and Eve, when He created the Garden of Eden, and put them in it to have a wonderful life on earth, and to expand that wonderful life--the core of which was knowing Him! 

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.--John 10:10, NASB95

The LORD has taught me to say often, "LORD, whatever lie I have agreed with--knowingly or unknowingly, I repent of right now, and I renouce those agreements. I ask You to forgive me for being deceived, and I break the power of those agreements right now, in the Name of Jesus! Let Your Spirit of Truth lead me into all Truth!"

The LORD is so faithful to inspire us to pray that prayer, then He is faithful to answer it! 

Continual change in thinking and acting, to the glory of God, to be more like Christ, is the mark of a true Christian, a true Believer in Jesus Christ!

Lies are always from the devil, Christ's enemy (and ours, when we are truly born again by believing in the power of Christ Jesus' blood shed at the cross to forgive and cleanse us of our sins!)--and they are always meant to destroy. Whether they come through us or others, they are never from God. 

God is Love (I John 4:8), and He is the Truth. He cannot lie! Hallelujah!

Even if He could, He would not, He is holy, and pure, and forever unchanging. 

He is good, and all good! Hallelujah!

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into  life, keep the commandments.--Matthew 19:17, KJV

God loves you, and He wants you to know the Truth about Him, Christ Jesus the Savior and soon-returning King; about yourself, the world, and everything else.

The Holy Spirit, God's Spirit on earth, is the Spirit of Truth Who will always be honest with you, and never lead you into wrong. You can trust Him totally!

He is always speaking; we must learn to hear. We do that; we learn the truth and recognize and refute and reject and renounce the lies, by reading and learning and listening to and remembering God's Word--putting it into our hearts and minds so that the eternal Truth of Christ washes the mud of deception and the other wrongs from our lives! Hallelujah!
