“I’m telling you it’s all a lie,”

“Transgenderism? How can realizing you’ve been born in the wrong body be a lie?”

“Are you kidding? That’s the lie.You said it outright: ‘born in the wrong body’ implies that God makes mistakes and God doesn’t make mistakes okay. When we as flawed human beings find ourselves in confusing situations, God wants to help us, but we have to go to Him with our problems in order for that to happen. Two verses come immediately to mind just by saying that……..Seek Him………Jesus said in the world you will have tribulation, problems confusion difficulties but He said CHEER UP! And I just thought of a third verse that says “knock and keep on knocking” in other words seek Him when you have a problem, seek Him when everything is going well too, but for purpose of this discussion just focus on seeking Him when you have a problem, because I’m telling you I know you’ve been hurt by all this, and I care about your feelings, but the only way we can hear what God is saying is to not allow our feelings to get in the way…..

Oh, and in case you're wondering why they lie, it's because they believe the lies that the devil is spreading, and we know his agenda is to keep us from God right?"

Tinker nodded, hestitantly.

"See, if we keep focusing on how bad we feel, then we won’t hear God’s Voice, which is also in His Word, so here we see there's a fourth Scripture supporting my argument. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice.” The only way to hear His voice is to stop all the noise in your own head and ask Him to help you understand, yourself, your friends, everyone around you and most importantly how to cooperate with His Spirit in order that your feelings will change, which reminds me of another verse.....so now we're up to five.....that explains that very thing, by calling us “new creatures in Christ.” See everything the Bible says completely cancels what society says about changing your gender.”

The boy who had been referring to himself as Tinker finally had to stop and think because suddenly he was getting a feeling he never experienced before. This was a brand new feeling. Upon hearing the Christian perspective and God’s Spirit prompting every part of his being, suddenly being born carried a whole new meaning for him. He felt grateful for being born at all……He felt sorry, like He defied the One Who was on his side all along. He was sorry for wanting so badly to change what God had created, and who He had created him to be; a man....a happy, loving man of GOD.

His friend Luke then informed him that he had to get to work and that he didn’t want to be late, so he left the young man’s house; leaving him all alone, but that turned out to be a blessing.

He went upstairs and looked at himself in the mirror. And he summoned God: “Lord, I know I have never acknowledged You before and I’m not sure even how to do that, but I can feel all sorts of new things that only make sense if what my friend Jimmy just said about You is True. So, I’m just asking You what do I do now? How can I face my friends who are trans, I mean I don’t even bother talking to anyone in school who isn’t, especially the Christians, and now it appears I’m turning to Jesus myself.”

He sat on top of the toilet and stared for a while, still in a state of complete and utter shock; did he really just learn the truth about transgenderism? Which is something his friends would argue until they passed out from exhaustion. Is something he feared deep down inside himself changing within him and making him want to try to explain a whole new outlook on transgenderism?

Then he felt the Lord telling him to get some sleep, to just stop thinking about all this overwhelming stuff and rest….and when he awoke to seek Him for the next step in what he would soon find and recognize as his healing process; complete surrender....

So he lay in bed and fell asleep instantly, for the Lord let it be so. His body received the deepest and most clarifying rest ever. In fact, this wasn’t a rest that is even possible without God’s Divine Interference. He slept for eleven peaceful hours. And, God gave him a few beautiful dreams of what He intended for mankind, to live in brotherly love that is pure and perfect and to wed man with woman in order to share the masculine with the feminine and bring forth new life from that sacred union. He woke up realizing that men and women have trouble communicating in comparison as to how they can with their own sex.

This is only due to having much more in common with one’s own sex, but God made a beautiful way for men and women, under His sacred institution of marriage, to come together physically and that connection is so profound they really do become one flesh spiritually, emotionally and even physically, as there is no space left between them through that blessed union.

Tinker immediately went back to his given name: Joseph Bernard Roselle, and gave all of his dresses to his sisters and the nearest Goodwill store.

And he kept his new favorite Scriptures close to his heart and mind every day:

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them,“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26-28)
