SOUL DANCE (excerpt): Benefits of Bragging on God

However, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS BOAST IN THE LORD.” - 2 Cor 10:17, AMP

If we boast (brag), let us boast in the LORD! God loves it when we boast in Him, and then He blesses us for doing that! He is so good!

Don't we and our loved ones, and just about every other human on the planet, love when we brag on them? We love it when others brag on us, too. 

As true Believers in Christ, we know we truly can do nothing without Him, for He gives us every breath, but we partner with Him to get His wonderful will done in the planet! 

He helps us desire Him and His will, then He helps us do it, and then He rewards us for working with Him to get His Ephesians 2:10 Plan done! What a good, good God He is! 

Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men! - Psalm 31:19, AMPC

There is no end to His goodness!  If I started now boasting on all His goodness just to me alone, I would never finish! So that's another writing

God is the ultimate loving Daddy--and He is the Creator and Owner of Heaven and earth! Many things in the earth are in the wrong hands right now, because Adam and Eve betrayed God, and then He in His eternal, truly awesome Love, sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for us on the cross by shedding His pure blood to pay for our sin! Hallelujah!--and He is working with humanity to get back all that is His; all that is ours! 

For, praise the LORD, from the moment we repented of our sin and asked LORD Jesus the Christ (Messiah, Savior, Anointed One) into our hearts, we have been joint-heirs of this earth! Halellujah!

That's another wriitng too--and a benefit of bragging on God.  When we rejoice in Him, focus on Him, worship Him, thank Him, these all help us get our minds off ourselves and problems in the world, and we are filled with gladness, with joy, with peace and love, etc.! We become spiritually-minded, which is life and peace to us. Hallelujah!

Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever]; - Romans 8:6, AMP

When we boast in the LORD, that makes Him want to do even more for us; bring into our lives even more blessings!

So, if you're not sure how to "boast in the LORD," you can start with this: Say, "Thank You, LORD, for life. I know that every good thing comes from You, and You have given me many good things! I thank You that You never change, and that Your Plan for me is only good (Jeremiah 29:11; Ephesians 2:10)." 

That's a start. Ask the LORD to help you find ways to boast in Him; brag on Him, and He will!

“But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you - John 14:26, AMP

Then your eyes will be opened even more to realize that God's goodness and mercies have brought you through all the tough times to this time, and that He is just waiting to be even better to you!

Therefore the LORD waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them]. -- Isaiah 30:18, AMP
