SOUL DANCE (excerpt): Because He Wanted To!

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. - Ephesians 1:3-7, NLT

Great is Your faithfulness, O LORD!

More than once this past week, there was nowhere to go--I was driving in the right lane of big-city traffic, with speeding semis on my left, and literally, no place to go--while three vehicles tried to merge into my lane as I approached.

There should have been a major wreck, but the LORD intervened miraculously--because He wanted to!

God is Love (I John 4:8), and His Love is truly out of this world!

He loves us. He is always watching over us, to keep us safe (as much as He can, although if we are sinning on purpose, He is still merciful, but the enemy can get in and cause trouble, which is never God's plan!). He is always thinking about how He can bless us and help us, and promote the Zoe life of Christ (John 10:10) in and for and through us--because He wants to!

HALLELUJAH!!

God is the miracle God, and that is as much in the "daily" and "unseen" happenings, as in the spectacular healings and deliverances!

Just like we show love to others--because we want to, how much more does our Heavenly Daddy do so?

We deserve nothing from our holy God--except death and destruction and hell!

But our loving Father (as long as we have truly repented of our sins and believed in what Christ Jesus, born of a virgin and living a sinless life, died on the cross for us, by shedding His pure blood to pay for all our sins! Romans 5:8) wanted to save us from evil, and His Plan was only good all along (Genesis 1)!

God the Father sent Jesus the Son to die for us, so we could be saved--because He wanted to!

He wanted us to be restored to relationship with Him, so we could know Him closely on earth, and perfectly and eternally in Heaven, when our bodies die and our spirits go to be with Him (as long as we have known Christ Jesus as Savior and LORD!).

Even after humanity was doomed to be born into sin, the LORD provided the way through Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world, to be restored to God and have a wonderful life; to have an eternal Covenant with Him, which includes divine protection such as I experienced (many times in life; but blatantly so during that trip!)!

Hallelujah!

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) - Eph. 2:4-5, KJV

Yes, He saved us by the blood of Jesus Christ (and all we have to do is agree and believe and receive, then allow Him to teach us His ways)--because He wanted to!
