To Your Health, A Much More Accurate Cholesterol Level Test
by Rik Charbonneaux
3/05/2024 / Health
"... and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Psalms 27:14 KJV
Starting in January 1924, most cardiologists are requiring labs to conduct ApoB cholesterol tests to supplement the traditional LDL and HDL cholesterol tests. The ApoB test is a more accurate marker of heart attack risk. Formally know as "apoliprotein B", ApoB is the particle that actually carries the cholesterol in our blood circulation system and therefore is thought to be a better indication of risk level.
If you are a heart patient, you may want to ask your Cardiologist if they employ the ApoB cholesterol test. One cardiologist commented that he would have put certain patients on Atorvastin much sooner. To your good health!
