The Right Key

by Olawale Ogunsola
6/18/2023 / Devotionals

To open a door calls for having the right key to that door. Using the wrong one will end in frustration, no matter the number of hours spent at the door or how hard you try. So, having the right key makes things easier, it saves time and energy.

It is worthy of mention here that there is a key that can open any door without any stress. It is called Master Key because it works for any door, irrespective of its size.

Do you know what? You need to work towards having it and believe that it will do the right thing for you. Having a key is not enough but you must use it for your benefit and that of others.

Which door do you want to open? In this case, a door is anything you want to do successfully. Do you want to build anything good successfully? Read the words of a king of Israel who experienced success with his people in their project:
[7]"Asa told the people of Judah, “Let us build towns and fortify them with walls, towers, gates, and bars. The land is still ours because we sought the Lord our God, and he has given us peace on every side.” So they went ahead with these projects and brought them to completion." 2 Chronicles 14.

Completing an assignment should be the joy of the fellow who engages in it. This is when a song of success can be sweet in the mouth.

Do you want to sing a song of victory? Seek the Lord. Doing this will command His presence which will ensure rest around you to enable you to finish your project peacefully with success.

Have you been engaged in any projects only to experience failure? Seek the Lord and call upon Him for help. He will help you by raising helpers for you.

Do you claim that you see people around who do not know the Lord but are "successful"? There are so many things that are embedded in it but the Psalmist summed it up thus,
[17]"Then I went into your sanctuary, O God,
and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.
[18]Truly, you put them on a slippery path
and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction." Psalm 73.

You can succeed without any destruction attached to it here in this world or in the next dispensation. This depends on your choice. Therefore, have the right and mandatory key to open all doors of your dreams successfully without any tension. Seek the Lord and you will find Him to walk with Him. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
