KNOWING THAT OUR TIME HERE IS SHORT

1.
Knowing that our time here is short,
What kind of life ought we to live?
Eternity must cloud our thoughts,
Lest we live and end up deceived.

2.
Beyond the fear and thought of hell,
There's a glory marked for our lives.
Knowing that here is temporal,
We must put God first in our strives.

3.
Knowing that our days here is short,
What footprint should we leave behind?
Each moment presents a fresh start,
Shall we continue to be blind?

4.
We will someday kiss earth goodbye,
And turn around to great beyond.
The memories of obeying God,
Will gladden our soul when we're gone!

5.
All the moments we lived for Christ
Would grace our memories at death.
Walk with Him now the Sun is bright,
For that's the joy when you leave earth.
