It not impossible that you have done all within your means to avoid King's delicacies. You may have done yourself some good things as can be seen in part one of this write-up.
If the King's delicacies harbor some evils in them, Kingly Delicacies has its own.
Kingly Delicacies?
It is essential to shed some light on what a Kingly Delicacies is. It is the plan of God for His people to experience all-round prosperity. A practical example is the life lived by the first man and woman in the garden of comfort, named Garden Of Eden.
Today, God still grant His people comfort in all ramifications. That is where a Kingly Delicacies can come in.
Every man thinks of what is best for him. A time of riches is a time to live differently. Many times, it is time to live one's true life. Before riches come, false and fake lives are lived; false humility as well as insincere humbleness rules the land.
On arrival of riches, it is possible to acquire all forms of foods and drinks like a king because the means is available. It is then you are free to eat or drink anything your soul deserves unquestionably. There is nothing a king has that is lacking to you. It is then you can be said to have access to a Kingly Delicacies. A description of people in such position are called by New Living Translation thus,
Psalms 73:7
"[7]These fat cats have everything
their hearts could ever wish for!".
This means a time when you have joined the fat cats, lacking nothing.
Yet, beware of a Kingly Delicacies!
1. Eschew selfishness in all forms. As you feed yourself, feed others you come across, neglecting no one. Do not concentrate on yourself and household only. This words will help you:
Luke 16:19-21
[19]Jesus said, “There was a certain rich man who was splendidly clothed in purple and fine linen and who lived each day in luxury.
[20]At his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus who was covered with sores.
[21]As Lazarus lay there longing for scraps from the rich man’s table, the dogs would come and lick his open sores." New Living Translation.
This rich man ignored the poor and the needy. When he later needed the poor man, Lazarus, he could not obtain it because of the gulf he had created between him and the poor man.
2. Beware of Kingly Delicacies for your health and wellness. A radio jingle sometimes ago goes thus,
"Good food is what the body needs, eat well but don't overeat." It The excess will trouble your body systems.
Certain people do experience ailments which they blame on Satan or his agents. Some call it, "arrow of the enemies".
Whereas, many times, it is not so. Many are sick today because of their attitude to Kingly Delicacies. They eat as much as they have access to. This they do to their own detriment.
Beware of Kingly Delicacies because of your Spiritual growth. Note that the Lord does not bless you to become His enemy or to create or widen a gap between Him and you. God-given riches should draw you closer to Him. Avoid Kingly Delicacies that will reduce your hours of fellowship with Him. Eat to live but do not live to eat because riches have come.
Do not become a glutton in riches. These are the words of a blessed rich man:
"12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. Luke.
Do not reduce yourself to eating, driving and merry making. Remember, riches have wings. You can Google my article with this title.
