Find Yourself in the Book!

18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity] 19 To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound].--Luke 4:18-19, AMPC
In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus found Himself in The Book--The Word. He knew exactly why He was sent, and performed God's will perfectly. As He is, so are we (not perfect, but partnering with Him to allow Him to perfect us; make us more like Christ.
He will help us find ourselves in His Word!
Many Believers in the LORD Jesus Christ are searching for the will of God.
But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life.--Deut. 4:29, AMPC
Part of His perfect will for us has to do with the gifts and desires He's given us. There is much to be discussed about various points on those, but that's another writing.
God's perfect will is always for us to represent Him well, so we find ourselves in The Book--His Word--to be His representatives, His "Christ-like ones", as we see in this Scripture: Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. --2 Corinthians 5:20, NASB:
To be His ambassadors, we must be humble. I believe most of us (myself included) could use a deeper revelation of what that means).
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? --2 Corinthians 5:20, NASB:
It is a humbling thing to pray (I Tim. 2:1-2); to walk in love (I Corinthians 13:4-8), and to choose to be thankful no matter what (I Thess. 5:15-22).
There now, you've just found yourself in The Book--The eternal, unfailing, inerrant, living Word of the true God--a few times already.
Ask the LORD, and He will show you more specifics. Meanwhile, happy BE-ing in His perfect will for these things (We journey toward them, with His help. Hallelujah! Blessed be the LORD, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever!)!
