Say These 10 Scriptures to Change Your Life For Good!

by Tonja Taylor
6/25/2022 / Christian Living

But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.--Matthew 8:8, AMPC

7 By [speaking] the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand [to attack] and for the left hand [to defend];--2 Corinthians 6:7, AMPC

You cannot go wrong speaking the Word of God, for the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, is our Father, and will take our little efforts and put His Grace upon them, for big things! He is so good!

The Bible is truly the ultimate Treasure Chest--with an endless, lifetime supply of treasure!

First, in any situation--and first thing when you wake--plead the Blood of Jesus! Say, "I plead the Blood of Jesus over myself, my family, our relationship with God; our relationships with one another and others; over our influence for God; over our minds and emotions and bodies;  over our finances, jobs, and/or business; over our possessions; over our destinies; over our marriage..." etc.

The LORD will guide you daily. He may have you plead the Blood of Jesus over other people and situations as well.

Here are 10 sets of verses that can kick-start your faith. Even one of these can be used by God to do mighty positive changes in your life, for the Word of God is alive, unchanging, infallible, and all-powerful! It is a seed, and when you speak it, you are sowing this incorruptible Seed into your life.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.--I Peter 1:23, KJV

Praise the LORD, His Word never returns to Him empty, but accomplishes that for which He sends it (Isaiah 55:10-12)! Hallelujah!

1. Psalm 3:3-4, Berean Study Bible:  3 But You, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head.  4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy mountain.

God's Spirit convicts us and leads us to repent, but He wants us to then receive His forgiveness, forgive ourselves, then hold our heads up and walk on with Him. We are His beloved children, in whom He is well pleased, and He sees us as He sees Jesus! Hallelujah!

For it was an act worthy [of God] and fitting [to the divine nature] that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many  sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering.--Hebrews 2:10, AMPC

When the world seems to be crashing down, these Scriptures are a great comfort, and can help steady your life:

2. Psalm 46:1-2; 1 God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas,

3. Although King David--whom many scholars believe wrote at least half of the Psalms--was observing the wicked and complaining that they were prospering in Psalm 73:4-5: "They have an easy time until they die, and their bodies are well fed. 5 They are not in trouble like others; they are not afflicted like most people."

We can personalize these for ourselves, and utilize them positively: 4 (We)  have no struggles...(our) bodies are healthy and strong. well-fed. 5 (We) are free of the burdens common to man; (we) are not plagues by human ills...;

4. Psalm 91—the Secret Place   1-2, 14-16

Most experts believe King David wrote this as well. The Psalm starts out talking about the importance and blessing of staying close to God, under His cover (the right church; the Word of God; personal prayer and worship, etc.)

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

The last few verses are God speaking, Hallelujah, about His personal promises of rewarding us who stay close to Him:   14 “Because he loves Me, I will deliver him; because he knows My name, I will protect him. 15 When he calls out to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”

Some of the following Scriptures I will paraphrase. Remember to personalize them as you speak them over yourself and your loved ones and situations!

5. Proverbs 3:25—"Thank You, Father, I have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked!"

6. Isaiah 50:7 AMPC  7 For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

7. Isaiah 54:17—No weapon formed against me shall prosper!

8. Daniel 6:20—The LORD Whom I serve continually will deliver me!

9. Daniel 7:27--Thank You, LORD, You give us sovereignty (over our own life), power, and grace, because we have come into Your Kingdom.

The last two talk about how God promised from the time He chose Abraham (who was not first a preacher, but a nomadic farmer who worshiped the moon!), to make it so that we are delivered from our enemies (through Jesus' death on the cross and the Word of God to enforce that defeat of the enemy, and our blessings in the LORD) and may serve our Father (through our relationship as His child by our faith in Christ Jesus' blood shed for us, and His resurrection) without fear, as consecrated, righteous heirs. Hallelujah!

10.Luke 1:73-75--73 That covenant He sealed by oath to our forefather Abraham: 74 To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our foes, might serve Him fearlessly 75 In holiness (divine consecration) and righteousness [in accordance with the everlasting principles of right] within His presence all the days of our lives.

Even if you decided to just focus on one of these Scriptures the rest of your life, God can show you more and more revelation from it, and use it to do miracles in your life and those over whom you speak it!

He is truly awesome!

Often, speaking the Word of God over our lives to change things is a process. Refuse to give up, and know that--even if it seems like you speaking the Word to affect positive changes is like a water drop on a mountain--God's Word is always working!

Even if you are speaking the Word for others, You will receive strength and blessing, because the Word of God is alive and active, always working! Glory!

Hallelujah. If you need to, ask Him to help you keep going, to be faithful to speak and read and listen to and share His Word. He will! He is forever faithful, and you will have more rewards in Heaven than you know!
