Why is the book of Revelations so important to the reader? It not only comes with a blessing but reveals the deity of Christ who is the author, dictating events that are to come upon the world to John, the scribe. These judgements and end time events happen in chronological order as they occur. In Old Testament times God always warned the Israelites through his Prophets beforehand when he brought condemnation down upon them for their disobedience. In today’s world he still uses that method of warning in the book of Revelation. A must-read book to prepare believers to meet the Lord in the air (rapture) when the trumpet blows. Prophecy is being fulfilled right before our eyes, are you ready?

Since the 1920’s there has been a steady compromise of the gospel message with a feel good, entertainment like atmosphere coming out of the pulpits leaving God’s “church” totally unprepared, causing fear and confusion among His children. The simple message of sinners in need of Salvation has been lost in the world’s version of redemption.

The main message in the book of Revelation is the conviction that right will ultimately triumph over Evil. WE WIN !! The trumpets represent a wakeup call to repentance and final judgments of the seven-year tribulation.

Rev. 1:1-8 Christ’s deity revealed

Rev. 1:9-20 Letter to the churches (in existence at that time)

Rev. Chapt. 2,3 List of churches. Last was the Laodicea church which our churches today can be compared to. Rich, spiritually wretched, miserable, poor, blind, naked and lukewarm that God wanted to spit them out of his mouth. A compromised church.

Rev. Chapt. 4 Trumpet blast, RAPTURE, heaven

Rev. Chapt. 5 Scroll with seven seals, writing on inside and out. Only the Lamb (Jesus) who was slain was worthy to break seals bringing in the bowl judgments.

TRIBULATION

Rev. Chapt. 6 The four horsemen

WHITE HORSE: Anti-Christ the conqueror (imitating Christ on a white horse)

Makes a false peace treaty for 3 ½ years, temple is rebuilt

RED HORSE: War horse, took peace away mid 3 ½ years

BLACK HORSE: Famine, economic collapse

PALE HORSE: Death and hell, had control over ¼ of the Earth to kill with war, famine, disease and wild animals (pandemics).

Converts are martyred during Tribulation, at rest

Heaven was shaken Earth quakes, red moon, falling stars but the people did not repent.

Rev. Chapt. 7 Silence in Heaven. 144,000 Jews sealed to evangelize. Tribulation saints that were martyred are dressed in white, tears were wiped away.

Rev. Chapt. 8 Earthquake. Seven Angels Seven Trumpets

1^st Angel : 1/3 of Earth set on fire

2^nd Angel: 1/3 of ships destroyed, sea turns to blood red, 1/3^rd of fish die

3^rd Angel: Star from Heaven poisoned 1/3^rd of all waters

4^th Angel: 1/3^rd Sun, Moon, Stars dimmed

5^th Angel: (Rev. 9) Bottomless pit was opened, torture of those who had taken the mark. Their King was called the Destroyer

6^th Angel: Blew trumpet and four demons were released to kill 1/3^rd of mankind. An army of 200,000,000 warriors went out but still the people did not repent of their demon worship, idols, murders, witchcraft, immorality, and theft, (all these things are present in our world today and in the birth pangs before the Tribulation begins).

Rev. Chapt. 10 God’s veiled plan, mysteries through out the ages, would be fulfilled.

Rev. Chapt. 11 Nations will trample the city for 42 months. Two witnesses (scholars identify them as Moses and Elijah) are given power during their 3 ½ years they prophecy, they are killed but rise again after 3 ½ days to be taken up to Heaven. Earthquake levels 1/10 of the city, 7,000 dead. Second woe has passed.

Temple of God was opened and the Ark of the Covenant would be seen inside. Hail storms and Earth quakes.

Rev. Chapt. 12-13 Pageant players: Woman…Israel (star’s, moon, sun)

Dragon…Satan

Male child…Jesus

Seed of the woman…remnant

Angels fought the Dragon and Satan’s access to Heaven was removed. He was cast out.

Rev. Chapt. 13 Creature rising out of the sea. Dragon gave him his power, throne, great authority, and he was worshiped. Creature controls the Earth for 42 months performing miracles, requiring all the world to worship him, and deceiving many. A statue was made of the first Creature, given breath and ability to speak (could this be a creation of AI?). The Statue ordered anyone who refused to worship it would die. He required everyone to have a mark on their right hand or forehead (666).

Rev. Chapt. 14 144,000 chosen ones sang a new song, they were undefiled and followed the Lamb. Angel shouted FEAR GOD and worship him. Another Angel followed saying “Babylon is fallen.”

Third Angel caused those who worshiped the Creature, his statue and taken the mark to be tormented. The harvest was gathered into the winepress of God’s wrath.

Rev. Chapt. 15-16 Seven last plagues then God’s anger will be finished.

1^st Angel… Malignant sores broke out on everyone who had taken the mark and worshipped the Creature.

2^nd Angel…Oceans become like a dead man and everything in them died

3^rd Angel…Rivers, springs, turned to blood. Saints and prophets who were martyred were justified. Evil ones were punished.

4^th Angel…people were scorched by the fire from the sun. Yet, they still did not repent.

5^th Angel…(Chapt. 16-17) Creature from the sea was plunged into darkness. Still the people refused to repent of their Evil deeds.

6^th Angel…River Euphrates dried up allowing the Kings of the east to march westward. Three demons, Dragon, Creature, False Prophet gathered all the rulers of the world to battle against the Lord at Armageddon, Mt of Megiddo.

7^th Angel…Babylon split into 3 sections, cities around the world were a heap of rubble, island vanished, mountains flattened, hailstones weighing 100 lbs. fell from Heaven and still the people cursed God.

Rev. Chapt.17 The Prostitute, Babylon the Great, was drunk with the martyrs blood. Ten Kings will sign treaty and wage war against the Lamb who will conquer them for he is LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS. The woman is left naked and ravaged by fire.

Rev. Chapt. 18 Babylon has fallen, the Queen of Heaven whose merchants became wealthy will weep. She is destroyed and responsible for the blood of martyred prophets and saints, deceiving nations with her sorceries.

Rev. Chapt. 19 LET THE WEDDING FEAST BEGIN. A huge crowd shouting Praise the Lord, for the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns.

Jesus on a white horse along with the armies of heaven follow on white horses. His title…KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

The Evil Creature, false Prophet and were thrown alive in the Lake of Fire.

Rev. Chapt. 20 The Dragon was seized and bound for 1,000 years in the bottomless pit.

Tribulation saints will be resurrected (new bodies). Those beheaded who had not worshiped the Creature or his statue, nor accepted the mark on their hand or forehead reigned with Christ for 1,000 years.

Humans that had survived through the tribulation will be tested after the thousand years. The Devil will be thrown in the Lake of Fire where the Creature and False Prophet are. Death and Hell were also thrown in the Lake of Fire.

Books were opened

All those whose names were not in the Book of life were also cast into the Lake of Fire.

Rev. Chapt. 21 New Earth, Holy City, new Jerusalem, no more tears, sorrow, crying or pain…gone forever. Description of the magnificence of Heaven. The Glory of God and Lamb will illuminate it, no need for sun or moon.

Rev. Chapt. 22 The water of life will run through the city with twelve fruit trees on both sides producing fruit every month . There will be nothing in the city that is Evil and they will reign with God forever and ever. WE WIN !!!

Note: Most church’s today have lost their meaning and left the flock unprepared for the judgments that are coming upon the world. This has left them confused, fearful and anxious. The Lord’s true church (His body) is made up of believers, who have been washed in the blood of Christ (new-birth). We are children of God, family, sisters and brothers in Christ. Christs body has been splintered into many titles, divisions and theological differences that has left them weak, powerless, and divided. They are comparable to the Laodicean church of old. We need an old fashion revival to bring the meaning of “Church” (body of Christ) back into the fold with love and unity among our brothers and sisters that truly care for one another.

As a believer we have much to look forward to. What greater joy will there be when we meet Jesus face to face. The Bridegroom is coming soon for His Bride, are you ready?
