What on Earth have you been doing in your Body?

The Basic Facts.
You are a spiritual body living through a physical body. And as such, since birth, you’ve been learning to live in the natural world.
While your spiritual body has been living through your physical body and going through the process of learning to live in the natural world, your spiritual body became exposed to the voices of other spiritual bodies (like yours) and this learning curve is what formed your understanding of the natural world. Based on this information, the inherent intellectual properties of you as an individual spiritual body gradually started forming opinions, beliefs and judgements of your own and, in turn, have been conveying it to other spiritual bodies living through their physical bodies.
The combination of your spiritual body and your physical body is what makes you a human creature called man – or wo-man – specifically designed to live in the natural world and nowhere else.
Beyond the Basic Facts.
What have you, as a spiritual body living through a physical body, been hearing from the natural world? Before answering that question let me reiterate that all of your words and actions are, and have always been, triggered in response to the words and actions of other spiritual bodies in your environment, past, present and will continue into the future. Your words and deeds are known as your works. And these all-important works of yours will determine your eternal direction once your spiritual body is released from your physical body – which is inevitable.
Now, what have you been hearing? Actually, you’ve been doing two things. You’ve been hearing from others in the natural world and you’ve been listening to yourself (your spiritual body) in deciding what your response should be. This might sound complicated, but you (your spiritual body) have been hearing others (their spiritual bodies) and you (your spiritual body) have been listening to yourself (your spiritual body) to find something to say in response to what you heard from their spiritual bodies. And what came out of you (your spiritual body) was determined by what is in your spiritual body. If you shake a glass filled with water, then what is in that glass will spill out, that is, water. Likewise, when you (your spiritual body) get shaken in life, then what is in your spiritual body will spill out of your spiritual body through your physical body. In other words, what you (your spiritual body) believe to be right will emerge and be presented to your hearers.
If you tend to be self-centred, then pride and arrogance will follow suit. This means that you (your spiritual body) will have leaned towards other spiritual bodies living in the natural world bearing similar traits. The works (words and deeds) of your spiritual body will, therefore, always line up with your self-centred tendencies. In effect, you will have listened to yourself (your spiritual body) and will have ignored what is right in favour of what is wrong, namely, your prideful, self-serving conduct.
Should you (your spiritual body) accept the worldview system of determining values, then your behaviour will be governed by the world view; that of the distorted concept of justice, morality, truth and conduct of self. This means that you (your spiritual body) have been listening to and have placed your trust in the worldview of things and that your spiritual body is under the control thereof - and you’ll continue to adhere to what you hear both from the natural world and from yourself.
Switching to another Speaker.
Let me reiterate what I said at the outset. You are a spiritual body living through a physical body. And as such, since birth, you’ve been learning to live in the natural world. While learning to live in the natural world you’ve been listening to yourself (your spiritual body) for the purpose of reacting to other spiritual bodies.
Why is what you (your spiritual body) have been listening to so important? It is important because you will have to give an account of what you (your spiritual body) have been doing while living though through your physical body while living in the natural world, as per 2 Cor. 5:10. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
The above verse of Scripture clearly emphasises the fact your spiritual body lives through your physical body and that your spiritual body is responsible and accountable for what you have done while living through your physical body.
If you are a born again Christian your worldview will have changed to a biblical worldview, which means that when listening to yourself (your spiritual body) you will hear from your spiritual body now under the control of the Holy Spirit and no longer under the control of the natural world. It is very likely that pride will be a thing of the past, which would be a major stumbling block between you and the Holy Spirit if a semblance of pride still exists and will severely affect the works for which you will judged, for you will vacillate between the two.
It should be understood that there is a difference between the works of an unsaved person and the works of a saved person. The conduct (works) of a saved (born again) person is based on obedience to a God-given commission and the level of reward will equal the quality of works. “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” (Matt. 16:27)
The works of an unsaved person carries an irrevocable sentence for it is void of any form of obedience to God. The judgement will merely take place for the purpose of confirming the sentence for that disobedience. ”For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23)
That all-important judgement seat of Christ includes judgement for needless idle chatter about everything under the sun. Idle chatter tends to convert to gossip and slander.
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” (Matt. 12:36)
Did you know that you died about 1 990 years ago when Christ died on the Cross in your place? You only realised this the day you were born again and willingly came under the control of the Holy Spirit and workmanship of Jesus Christ. That’s when you knew you would never die again. You will never die again, but you need to hear the Holy Spirit in your spiritual body so that your works that follow will stand you in good stead before the judgement seat of Christ.
Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
So, while your spiritual body is living through your physical body in the natural world where you have been placed for a short stopover, make sure that you say and do as prompted by the Holy Spirit within you.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16)
