GOD IS STILL in control

Thought:  Where are we headed as a nation?  That is the question on the minds of millions.  Do we trust man with the answer or trust God the Creator and Father.  This is what our God we worship says who He is.

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I AM your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Proverbs 16:3,4 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end—even the wicked for a day of disaster.”

Job 34:12-115 “It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice.  Who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world? If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit and breath to Himself All flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.”

Psalms 103:19 “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules overall.

Psalms 119:89-91 “Your Word, Lord is eternal;  it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day for all things serve you.

Daniel 2:20-22 “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.  He changes times and seasons; he disposes kings and raises up others.  He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.  He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him 

Psalm 46: 1,2 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”

II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and see my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Prayer:  Father God, this should be our prayer for our nation.  Help me to continue to pray for the healing of my country and its people.  Amen

Verse:  Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE.”
