Remove the Limits!

It should have been an easy online transaction. I had been wanting to start this course for months, and I finally had the funds. Even my husband was in agreement about it, so all was "go."

However, when I ordered it, I got the message that my card had been declined!

The devil started in with condemnation, trying to make me feel guilty, but I had confidence that I was not desiring anything wrong. I asked the LORD, "Have I missed it? Is this not the way to go?"

I had learned that my Daddy God loved me no matter what--even when I'd been stubborn and rebellious. Praise God, His love never changes! As our beloved pastor states, we cannot sin enough to change God's love for us. Hallelujah!

So I knew it was not the LORD's plan for me to have fear about making a wrong decision. I was not trying to miss it.

May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. --2 Peter 1:2, AMPC

Through the years, I'd learned to ask the LORD if I'd missed it, which is the second best thing to do. Even better, I'd learned to ask Him before I made a decision.

I'd been checking with Him off and on about this, and did have peace. I also have my husband's agreement, I counseled myself. I believe Father God is fine with this, I thought. LORD, please give me Your wisdom about what is wrong. How do I remove this limit?

I knew the devil didn't have any right to stop the Plan of God in my life. I had had this desire to learn this skill for years. I also had the vision about some ways the LORD would use it to expand His Kingdom.

I knew that I was the righteous, and my desire was godly, as Proverbs 10:24 states: "The thing a wicked man fears shall come upon him, but the desire of the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall be granted."

First, I took authority in the Name of Jesus over the enemy's work. The enemy is a deceiver and destroyer--and defeated, by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony!

Then, I rested in the LORD. I thanked and praised Him that I have Christ in me Who is my wisdom I Corinthians 1:30: "But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].

Quickly--Daddy God is so good, and always ready to help us, His precious kids!--He brought to my mind the memory that, when I previously tried to order something outside the USA, there had been a limit on it. It was a limit imposed by the bank, for protection of my account.

Ah! So the simple solution was to call the bank, give the details of the merchant and my intended purchase, and have them remove the limit (I asked them to remove it for just this occasion). All it took was a few minutes, then they way was clear for me to order and achieve my goal of purchasing the course.

Let's pray: LORD, we praise You that You are forever faithful and always work all things together for the best of us who love You and are the called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We ask You to help us remember to ask for Your Plan before we decide something, and also to spend more time in Your Presence with Your Word, worship, and prayer, so that we our desires are aligned with Yours, and what we desire and do flows from Your Spirit within us.

We thank You for it, for we know that we pray in Your will and that You hear us, and thus we have what we ask, as Your Word says in I John 5:14-15. Thank You, LORD. We love You and ask this in Jesus Name. Amen!

If there are limits in your life that you believe should not be there (and the devil is the limiter, not God, although there is devine restraints sometimes, for our protection and good, because God is a good, good, Father, Who loves us so much He sent Jesus for us as our eternal and complete sacrificial Lamb to pay for our sins and give us abundant life (John 10:10)!), then ask the LORD for wisdom to distinguish between what is of Him and what is not.

Jesus died for us to be free to enjoy all His blessings, always giving remembering that every good thing comes from Him, of course. As 2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMPC) states, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom)."

He will be faithful to show you, and all the quicker as you draw close to Him! He loves you and will help you. He wants you to enjoy all the wonderful facets of life that Jesus died to give you!

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.--Romans 8:28, AMPC
