A FISH WALLET

"The earth is the Lords, and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to him." Psalm 24:1. NLT.

 

The above statement is not in any way subject to a controversy in any form. This is because, non-followers of Jesus Christ even believe that their is a power or force behind everything that happens on the earth. People have different names for the power or the force.

 

To God be the glory who has always been revealing His secrets to those who fear Him, most especially Believers in Christ. The Holy Bible contains a lot of such secrets and the method of knowing more.

 

Above quoted verse makes it known that all things belong to Him and He controls them in ways He loves to and no one can question His authority.

 

Father Abraham uttered a statement to further prove that he had faith in God with whom he was walking when he was about to sacrifice his son of covenant, Isaac. This is in Genesis 22:8, it goes thus,
"God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,"

 

This was prompted by Isaac's question in respect of a sheep to offer as a burnt offering on Mountain Moriah. True to his statement of faith, God provided.

 

The Holy Bible records, "Abraham named the place Yahweh - Yireh (which means" the Lord will provide). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb,
"On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." Gen 22:14. NLT.

 

When the Lord Jesus Christ put on the tabernacle of flesh, He demonstrated same to His followers. He proved that God provides and He never fails at anytime. This happened on a day He paid a tax He ought not to pay as well as Peter. On the said day, the Ministry Treasurer, Judas Ischariot was not with them to settle the bill. It was then that it became clear that He has wallets everywhere, so many of them. One of such wallets is a fish resident in a lake.

 

"However, we don't want to offend them, so go down to the lake
and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and
you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of
us." Matthew 17:27. NLT.

 

These tax people new that the master and follower were citizens of Israel but they just wanted to put them to shame, thinking that they will have no means of settling them. However, they were proved wrong ; a fish wallet was available from which the tax money can be taken.

 

Jesus Christ and Peter were not put to shame, may you not be put to shame in Jesus name.

 

Do you have a finance - related challenge(s)in your life now? Be cheerful, beloved. Only let your focus be on the Great Provider who never fails. You may or may not know it, there is a Wallet of the Lord near you. All that he has to do is to open the heart of the right person who will open the mouth of the wallet and God will just take glory over your situation.

 

I am sure, Peter did not know that Jesus had a wallet in the lake until there is a need to open it. He instructed the right person (Peter) to open the right wallet (first fish) and there he found the tax money for both of them. There is a person and a wallet near you, May the Lord send out the right instruction to the right one who will open it and get your problems solved in Jesus name.

 

He assures you in Isaiah 54:4 thus,
"Fear not, you will no longer live in shame.
Don't be afraid, there is no more disgrace for you.
You will no longer remember the shame of your youth
and the sorrows of widowhood." NLT.

 

Claim this with your faith. Have hope in the Lord that he will give appropriate commandment to the right person, near or far, to open the appropriate wallet to take glory in your life. He never fails.

 

If Jesus Christ can use a fish wallet in His days, He has a wallet near yyo. Have faith in Christ. Have hope in Him also. You will have a testimony soon.
