The human race is on the brink of making a sobering discovery

If we think that God does not play a role in our lives and/or that we function as human beings without God being aware of our every thought, word or action, then we are hugely mistaken. Once we understand that we have a life only because of the reality of the existence of God; and that our livelihood revolves around God; and that He placed the human race on this planet for a specific purpose and, therefore, that He expects us to fulfil that purpose, then – and only then – will our lives begin to have meaning. And this is when our thought patterns will go in a completely different direction.

We are here for no other reason but to be in constant fellowship with God; to consult with Him; to talk about Him: to honour Him; to worship Him and to follow His directions for our lives as clearly laid out in His Word. This should take place everywhere – at home; in the workplace; in Parliament and with family and friends around the fire.

There should be no such thing as separation between Church and State. Without God there would be no State. It should be a matter of boldly declaring, “Let’s ask our heavenly Father what we should do to resolve this matter” and not, “Let the Church pray for our country while we conduct Parliament without interference from Him.”
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD;” (Ps 33:12)

Does all of this sound mundane and even embarrassing? To the world it does, but God is about to make His move to bring home the truth as He has promised to do. We are talking about the Supreme Ruler, Owner and Creator of the Universe and every living creature on this planet as made clear in His Word.

“Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jer. 1:5)

and

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, says the LORD, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.” (Zec. 12:1)

and

“God,in whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind” (Job 12:10)

It is an absolute fact that none of us would have been here if God did not, by His mercy and grace, take on the form of man and pay the penalty for our fallen state on the Cross and reconcile us to Himself. Like in the days of Noah, when God destroyed the human race except for Noah and his family, He could have repeated the process of erasing humankind at anytime up to this point in time. “If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.” (Job 34:14,15)

But, instead, the Supreme Ruler of the Universe put into place His plan of redemption for the human race. “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” (1Peter 3:18)

God wants and needs our focus of attention to be on Him and Him alone – not on all the fake man-made religions of the world, so that we may live in the joy and fullness of all that He wants to provide for us at home and in the workplace. And He has made it easy for us to receive from Him through Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) who fulfilled all of God’s laws for us so that all we need to do is follow Jesus Christ, “:for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

Some might say, “Yes, yes, I hear you, but I’m too busy right now and not ready for all that God stuff.” There’s the story in the Bible of a man who had a similar attitude. To him God said, “Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided? (Luke 12:20)

The other thing that God has made absolutely clear is the timeframe in which we need to come to our senses – and then He shall be, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (2th 1:8,9)

We are in the very latter part of that timeframe. All we need to do is cast our eyes on the Middle East where there is a convergence of end time prophecies now playing out. As for ‘climate change’, it is nothing more than the earth crying out for deliverance (which it now sees in the near horizon) from the curse under which it has suffered ever since the day of Adam’s transgression in the Garden of Eden.

I’m not a bearer of bad tidings. I am merely a messenger of what God has already said and of what He will be saying when the time comes for Him to say it. It’s there for all to see, in the Bible.
