Making God Your Business Partner-An Excellent Idea
by Ngozi Nwoke
7/10/2018 / Christian Living
Who is your business partner? Who you partner with determines greatly the outcome of the business. Many people have one or more business partners, excluding God. Unfortunately doing business without God limits the business in all areas. This post encourages you to have God as your main business partner.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him - Acts 10:38 (NKJV).
Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king...and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper...So his fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped till he became strong - II Chronicles 26:3, 5, 15 (NKJV).
Many people are toiling with little or no result because they don't have God as their business partner. The scriptures say that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill, neither is it of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy (Ecclesiastics 9:11, Romans 9:16).
When the Almighty is your main business partner and you allow Him to guide you, you will certainly prosper. This is because He is the Alpha and the Omega, nothing is hidden from Him, and He is the only wise God (Jude 25). Besides, He created all! He gives you the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18), teaches you to profit and leads you by the way that you should go (Isaiah 48:17).
Jacob enjoyed God's partnership greatly that he became very wealthy. He gave him an idea which he put to work resulting in him acquiring many servants and animals (Genesis 30:32-43, 31:10-12). Also, David had the Lord as his partner and he never lost a battle. He was always asking God for direction, never assuming anything (1 Samuel 30:8, 2 Samuel 5:19) and the Father caused him to prosper greatly. Uzziah also, prospered greatly throughout the time he had God as his partner. It was recorded that he was marvelously helped by God. Finally, our Lord Jesus Christ succeeded in His business on earth because God was with Him (Acts 10:38). The Almighty Father makes all the difference.
When the Lord is your business partner and you adhere to His instructions, your efforts are crowned with great successes. He will cause men to favour you and bring helpers your way who will help you fulfill your dream or assignment. The Lord will so manifest Himself in your business such that what would normally take you 50 years to accomplish will be accomplished in 5 years. He is God Almighty!
Therefore, with all your heart trust in Jehovah, don't try to depend on your understanding. In all your activities acknowledge Him and He will always direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Make God your business partner today and you will enjoy rest always.
