Remain In Service And Be Paid And Promoted

Are you still in service unto God? Every service unto the Lord attracts a reward, for God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. God owes no man anything but richly gives us all things to enjoy. However, to qualify for God's blessings you have to be actively in service. This article emphasizes the need to diligently serve God in order to receive his blessings.

So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days - Exodus 23:25-26 (NKJV).

'His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord - Matthew 25:21 (NKJV).

Nobody gets paid by an organization if the person is not on their payroll. You have to be a staff working in that organization for you to be entitled for any payment at the end of the week or month. So also, you have to be actively servicing God to be qualified for His blessings.

In Exodus 23:25, God listed the blessings that will come upon anyone who is serving Him. This list covers everything you will ever desire on earth: prosperity, total health, fruitfulness and long life. Also, Matthew 25:21 makes it clear that when you faithfully serve God, you will be greatly promoted.

This year, God is very much ready to release His blessings to you, but you have to be in active service. Therefore, allow the Father to lead you in what areas He wants you to serve Him and do so, and your joy shall be full.

When you quit serving the Lord, you cease to be on His payroll, and there will be no further promotions for you. Many Christians excitedly serve the Lord, but when God blesses them with their heart desires, they quit serving Him. Unfortunately, this step of theirs disqualifies them for future pay and promotions, until they return to serving Him.

Do you have to be a prophet, apostle, teacher, pastor or evangelist before you can serve God? No! You can serve God in prayers for the expansion of His kingdom on earth and for His will to be done on earth (Matthew 6:33). You can also serve Him in soul winning activities, serve Him with your resources, time and energy. In return, God will bless you with great ideas, amazing job opportunities, healings to your body, children, success, business and financial breakthrough, promotions in your place of work, excellence in career, etc.

One thing is sure, God pays very well. When you serve Him with your little hand, He rewards you with His large hand. Truly, you can never out give God. He created the heavens and earth and everything within them (Psalm 146:6), so He lacks nothing; rather, every instruction from God is for our profiting.

Abraham served God totally and God greatly blessed and promoted him such that in his seed, all the nations of the earth will be blessed (Genesis 22:16-18). Furthermore, Dorcas diligently served God, and He heard the prayers of the saints and gave her more years to live on earth (Acts 9:36-41).

Moses, however, didn't experience any promotion until he returned to Egypt to serve God there. But when he started serving him, the Lord greatly lifted him. He saw the Creator face to face and communed with Him like man to man. God revealed the secrets of creation to him and delivered the law to man through him. He enjoyed total health (Deuteronomy 34:7) and died a great man never to be forgotten on earth.

Furthermore, Jesus served the Father absolutely and God powerfully promoted Him, such that at His name every knee bows down and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Therefore, to remain in service is to be constantly paid and promoted as and when due. Remain or return to serving the Almighty Father and He will never cease to bless and promote you.
