Are You Rapture Ready? Part Three

Jesus compares the lives of people today as the people in the days of Noah in reference to His return.

When the Lord does come, it will be both surprising and catastrophic, as in the days of Noah.

Jesus spoke far ahead of His time relating to us what life would be like just prior to His coming. Life will be normal . . .They ate, drank, married up until the time Noah entered the ark. Then the destruction of the flood came upon them and they were destroyed.

In Noah's day there was plenty of warning (120 years), but no preparedness. WHY? Because they did not heed Noah's warning, they mocked him. Same as today, most church people have become indifferent about the second coming; most don't even know about it - but the Bible clearly states the second coming and that it will be just like Noah's day, which is not a pretty scene.

Genesis 6:11-12 - "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth." The earth is corrupt today and God is looking on it as He did in Noah's day, and he is making His descision as He did then.

The earth is covered with wickedness today; in our cities we have hate crimes, drive by shootings, mothers killing their infant children, parents killing their children, children killing their parents; inhuman behavior is becoming the norm; we have run amuck, having no restraints. Everything is tolerated today. The more tolerance today the less morals we have. This is truly an immoral society - no standards, any and every thing goes.

The sanctity of marriage is almost forgotten; living together without marriage is the thing today. Immorality is running rampage - a lot of which is right in the church, and it is tolerated there because it is done by the church leaders; including the pastors in some cases. People commit suicide because they have no hope. Euthanasia is becoming an accepted alternative.

People are turning to violence to vent their personal frustrations. Students taking guns to school killing classmates and teachers for no apparent reason. Individuals going into theaters, schools, malls, killing innocent people. Men killing coworkers for no reason. Wives killing husbands, husbands killing wives. The spiritual war has been on the increase as Satan's hosts find their expressions through ungodly people to do violence, working through the sons of disobedience.

Our video games are filled with entertaining games with death themes. Our movies are filled with violence as well as the TV. Everything is filled with murder, sex and violence. This is very influencial in the lives of our young people - our youth today is also being destroyed in car accidents, suicide, homicide and drive by shootings.

Yes, child of God, we are beginning to see the days of Noah again when men's hearts are contilually filled with violence and lust. For that reason, Jesus is coming soon; this world cannot continue to function as it is. God's beginning to feel the same way He did during the days of Noah - He is not going to let this world continue this way much longer. That's why I ask, "ARE YOU RAPTURE READY!!"
