Trust

Trust...the hardest part of healing. I have been betrayed by so many, but the biggest betrayal was from the people I had laid my trust in to its fullest...my parents. With the abuse that started from the tender age of 4, my trust in people or anything had been shaken from then and even now at the age of 45.
I have learned on this path of healing that there is only One whom I fully trust, and that is my Savior, Jesus Christ. As I read His words daily, I have become familiar with Him and have gained the comfort and confidence that is needed for me to sustain His will and His works.
Jesus, one who has unconditional, everlasting love for me. One who asks nothing of me, but yet loves me anyway. And because of His love, I trust and want to give myself freely to His will and His ways.

~~~~Psalm 62:5-8 My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. (6) He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. (7) On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. (8) Trust in Him at all time. O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.
