God Is Already Pleased With You

Many people today are angry, fearful, bitter, resentful, revengeful and feel powerless due to life's dysfunction with families, friends, marriages and co-workers. There is a deep cry within people for acceptance and love. Prostituting oneself for acceptance and love has become a way of life for many in several areas such as: unhealthy sex, internet porn, various forms of ungodly marriages, illicit drugs, materialism and murder. My dear beloved reader God is already pleased with you. Everything that was in Him He breathed into youand it was good. The challenge is that most people do not know how to tap into their "I AM"ness. We are a spirit that has a soul and live in a body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Our entire journey with God is an inside job within our spirit man. Take a walk with me down memory lane and let's see what God said about his Son Jesus after he was baptized. In Matthew 3:17 it reads: And lo a voice from heaven, saying this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Jesus had not started his ministry when God said he was already pleased with Him. You ask how could this beWell I'm glad you askedLuke 2:40 reads: And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom and the grace of God was upon Him. Luke 2:52 reads: And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Jesus had to spend time with God just like you and I have to in order to grow in the things of God and have favour with Him and man. Jesus learned how to tap into His "I AM"ness. God made himself known to Moses as "I AM" when Moses asked God whom should I tell Pharoah that sent meGod said tell him "I AM" sent you. As a believer the same "I AM" lives on the inside of you. We have to be trained to tap into it. There are several steps that can be taken to start your journey into your "I AM"ness having the mindset that God is already pleased.
First, accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviorRomans 10:9-10 declaresThat if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There is absolutely nothing in life that is more important than knowing you will have eternal life with Jesus. All the benefits He loads us with daily will always outweigh anything the world has to offer.
Second, you have to believe that God loves you. John 3:16For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life. God first loved you therefore you can love God, yourself and others with Jesus' help. No matter what you have done in life you can't separate his love from youfor God is love. Tell yourself daily that God loves me and I can guarantee you that in the process of time these words will get down in your spirit and grow deep roots. When you know that God loves you you'll be quick to repent of any wrong doing. Many believers struggle believing that God loves them because they are more sin conscious than God conscious. Their past sins drives their thoughts away from God. Settle it in your mind that absolutely NOTHING can separate God's love from you and your love from Him. Push through your negative thoughts and declare that you are God's favorite son or daughter and His love for you is everlasting
Third, hunger and thirst to know God. God and His word are one. When you begin to study His word, you will eventually move from calling God "God" to calling him Father, Daddy or Abba. This makes the relationship/fellowship personal. Your spirit man will begin to grow strong and a boldness will come over you. Your family, friends, co-workers will know that something is different about you. You will be no different than Peter and John in Acts 4:13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Peter and John had dysfunctional backgrounds as all of us have and God was already pleased with them just the way they were. God knew that Peter and John would one day tapped into their "I AM"ness knowing who they were in Christ Jesus. Peter and John helped turn the world right side up. No amount of education, money, or prestige impresses God nor a believer who know who they are in Christ Jesus.
Fourth, apply John 2:5 to your lifewhatever Jesus says do. Make up in your mind and heart that you will do what the Bible says. There is a misconception in the Body of Christ that the closer you get to Jesus your life will be dull with no excitement. That is a lie from the devil. God being the manufacturer and we His product knows exactly what we need to live fulfilled prosperous lives. You want a good marriage, good children, good friends but are you willing to do what Jesus tell you to do? Isaiah 1:19 says"If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land".
Fifth, come to terms with your relationship with God knowing that it is a personal one and there may be times that you may feel alone; but you are not.For God said he will never leave you nor forsake you.
So when life throws those curve balls and try to knock you down, train yourself to go "within" and tap into your "I AM"ness and say to yourself with BOLDNESSI AM the righteousness of GodI AM loved, I AM above my circumstances and I AM covered with the blood of Jesus.
For God says(your name) I AM already pleased with you
