Healing through Faith By Travis Brown
by Travis brown
12/14/2012 / Bible Studies
In Matthew 8:6-13 there is a Roman captain who came to Jesus and begged him to heal his servent. He didnt just ask he begged Jesus to heal his servent. I can just imajin this Roman captain in his uniform on his hands and knees beging for his servent to be healed because he knew that the only person or thing that he could trust to heal his servent was Jesus.
This captan compared Jesuses athourity over disease to his athority over his soldiers. His othority comes from the Emperor but Jesus gets his othority from god. After he said this the bible states "when Jesus heard it he marveled". This is one out of two times in the bible that jesus marveled. This man was not a jew but knew so much about god and didnt dout him for a second. because of this mans faith his servent was healed.
If you are reading this and need a healing remember whithout faith there is no healing. if you have eny questons send me a message and i will get back with you ASAP.
