The Cycle

He hits his wife, that's what men do,
He saw his father hit his mom too.

He hits his kids when they don't obey,
His dad hit him almost every day.

To his small son he replies, "Don't you know, boys don't cry,
Stand up straight and dry your eyes."

His teenage son goes on a date,
And hits his girlfriend if she is late.

His teenage daughter full of hate,
Will tolerate abuse in a mate.

The men in the family keep the women in line.
They don't know domestic violence is a crime.
