Gender Is Not A Four-Letter Word
by Dan Wafford
6/28/2011 / World Affairs
In the news today is an article about the "Egalia" preschool in Stockholm, Sweden, where they are proud of the fact that they have removed every hint of "gender bias" to insure that children don't fall into "gender stereotypes."
This is nothing less than Satan working his claws into modern society in ever more insidious and deceitful ways.
At this oh-so-advanced school, nasty words like "him" and "her" have been eliminated, and children are "friends" rather than "boys" or "girls."
This state-supported school is an example of the national government's policy that "Breaking down gender roles is a core mission in the national curriculum for preschools "
While the purported goals of the school may seem innocuous and to have some value, there can be no doubt of the program's true intentions. The article states that "Director Lotta Rajalin notes that Egalia places a special emphasis on fostering an environment tolerant of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. From a bookcase she pulls out a story about two male giraffes who are sad to be childless until they come across an abandoned crocodile egg. Nearly all the children's books deal with homosexual couples, single parents or adopted children."
God had very clear and definite reasons for creating two sexes with interestingly divergent natural abilities and perspectives. The married couple is the very epitome of the meaning of synergy: a state where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Diversity of interests and strengths enhances the married couple's ability to adopt a balanced outlook, to learn from one another, to broaden their perspective on life, and to appreciate more fully all of God's wonderful gifts.
God made the man physically stronger so that he could protect and provide for a family. He made the woman more nurturing so that she could provide the sympathetic, tender care needed by young children. Only in a society blinded by Satan can these positive inherent characteristics be misconstrued as points of contention that must be first, devalued and second, destroyed.
Programs such as this are nothing more than very thinly disguised attempts to undermine God's plan for mankind, and ultimately His authority and sovereignty.
Can there be any better example of the truth of Romans 1:22: "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools " and Romans 1:28: "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind "
May the purity of God's Church never be corrupted by such foolishness, and may He give us wisdom to shine the light of truth into lives that have become so darkened.
