Wow, April is here already. The Lord said for me to let you know that APRIL meanswhen All People React In Love. I asked the Lord what that was all about. He said after I look in the mirror then I will understand. So, I did and OH MY! It's like a part of my life reflected back at me. I saw ME pointing fingers. I saw ME judging, ME gossiping, ME ME ME!!!! Elaine and I pray daily for more of God and less of us. So, how could I be so busy that I lost track of my steps. Okay, I know that I'm not perfect. I will never be. Our God does not want our perfection. He wants us to do our BEST to serve Him and to please Him. As I stepped back from the mirror I could see things much more clearly. All the people around me are human. We laugh, we cry, we live and sooner or laterwe all pass away. Oh, I sure do not want to face God Almighty with envy, jealousy, anger, ego and lies on my hands!

Singers ask me a lot to help them and tell them about their singing, whether it's in the studio or on stage. As a producer I'm expected to give my opinion and most of the time I do. I do my best to give out constructive criticism. It's not always the response they want to hear but lying to them gets us all no where. I tell them that my opinion is just one in a world of plenty. Ultimately God is the ONE opinion that matters. You see our relationship with God can take us to unbelievable heights and open doors that can change our lives forever.

Hummm, I'm looking back in that mirror again. Now, what can I do to make my life better in these last days? I'm sure not gonna win no beauty contest! I'm not gaining tons of friends or making tons of money! I'm not singing as good as I once did. I sometimes sound like a grainy out of breath has been. That's what I see through my eyes and hear with my ears. BUT, the moment that I look and listen with my heart, I see God's creation. I hear HIS voice project from within me. I try my best to stay positive but it's hard. Money is very tight, bookings are hard to lock down, chores are getting much harder to do, and to top it all offmy hair flat refuses to grow back! Hey, you got to laugh. No matter how hard life gets, YOU GOT TO KEEP LIVING! No matter how low the valley gets, YOU GOT TO KEEP REACHING. No matter how high that mountain is, YOU GOT TO KEEP CLIMBING. No matter how rough the seas may get, YOU GOT TO KEEP BELIEVING. Here is the chorus to a song the Lord gave me when I was going through one of the most difficult times in my life. Read it carefully and cling to HIM.

I cried, Father Can you hear me, I'm scared and all alone,
I need you here beside me; I don't think I can go on.
He said, the world may fall around you; you may loose every thing you own,
Just take my hand and I'll help you stand, I'll take you through the storm.

Well, everyone has an opinion and this one is mine. I do love the Lord and I choose to serve Him. God really does put people, places and situations together. So, let's praise the Lord with all our heart, with all our soul, with all of our mind. All in one accord. Remember, what we see is the human side. What God sees is His beautiful creation. Do your best to react to others in Love. For love given is love received! God bless you and through you HE will bless others. Amen and Amen.
