Christian Awake

Christian Awake, the alarm has sounded, the trumpet has blown. It is the time to stand for the one we claim we believe in. I was reading Barack Obama's transcripts the other day from the speech he made to the muslim world in Cairo last week and found it hard to believe he is a Christian. Or even that he would make such a profound declaration. When he began the speech he made that statement, and having been a Christian for a while I can relate to how a Christian should line up to God's Holy word. From the speech it would seem that he wants, like a lot of other prominent and powerful people, unity. Unity is fine if it is in Jesus Christ, but the unity he wants is with all nations and religions of the world.
The bible talks about false unity and peace for short period of time when the antichrist is in power. But true unity and peace will not happen, God does not want us to compromise his word and when we do we are none of his. It looks as though a one world order is coming. We have heard it for years, be ready. Not let me get to the point, our President needs to meet the real Jesus Christ and receive true Salvation if he wants to get to the promise land because his actions are far from being a Christian. Jews are God's chosen people and we as Christians are grafted in so to speak. Being a Christian means that we know the truth and need to share the truth. Will all accept the truth, no, but we still need to share it. God's word clearly states that the only way to Heaven is through his only begotten son Jesus Christ whom we crucified at Mount Calvary. He rose again the third day just like he said he would do. He is not enshrined in a tomb somewhere. When he comes back he is going to take his Church away, and we must believe in him in order to participate. There is nothing in God's word that says you can trust in some other belief system and get to Heaven, or one that requires you to work in order to get there. Don't get me wrong Salvation is a free gift of God, but once you are saved you should want to work for your Lord and Savior, if you do not, you need to go back to the cross and ask God for help and guidance because something is amiss. We as Christians have sat in the back seat far too long and allowed the world to take root in every part of our lives from the Church to our homes, it's time we stand together with God's help and defeat the foes of our time and share the true gospel of Jesus Christ to see lost souls saved. We need to pray for the president and his family as well as the muslim world to accept the truth in love. Get up and get in the battle. Today is the day of Salvation.
