Change
by Stanley Davis As we look past this years inauguration of the forty-forth President of the United States. We need to look forward to the coming reign of Barack Hussein Obama and his new staff. We need to remind ourselves and more importantly him of one profound statement he made numerous times that got him elected. Our new President said it was time for a CHANGE, we need CHANGE in America, I am about CHANGE, and so on. Almost every time he spoke it was about change and his speech was with vigor, his voice was smooth, words spoken with confidence. I have to ask myself, who or what is driving him, I have my own opinion, but I will keep it to myself. Because, freedom of speech, one of our rights, is now a thing of the past for the Christian. In any case, Barack won, as you know by a landslide, the American people fell head over hills for someone they had never known before, a person with limited experience to run a state much less our country. A man who spent a short time in the Senate and now he stands for a changed America. If you are a Christian, you know he does not stand for Christianity, he stands for unity of all. True unity will only come when our Lord comes back to set up his Kingdom, not by some man. Now to my point, have you noticed, he seems to be placing people into his administration that have already had an opportunity to make a change. I do not need to name names, but some of these people were part of a former administration. What I mean is, when something is new to me it is something never used, fresh. Like a brand new car, or a new home, you know what I am saying. Our president elect stated many times throughout his campaign that it was time for a change. I thought that meant new, like out with the old and in with the new. Since he has won the Presidency, and you and I look for the change spoken about, he has been placing some familiar people back into the white house. I have to say this, are they part of the reason we are where we are today? If they really want change they need to place people in offices who care about this country and will work to achieve a common goal, not those who care more about themselves, and the power they can have. Politicians, they take from the working people and give to the lazy and call it entitlements. I'm not talking about the need, I'm talking about the greed. Change, what change? Politics as usual.
