Farmhouse Nightmare
by Isabel White

Louise loved her life. But it was about to change.
Louise walked in the farmhouse from milking the cow.
"Mom! I'm hungry!"
No answer. Louise rolled her eyes.
"Mom!!"
Still, nobody answered. Luise looked around. Everything was in order,
except for the counter. There was a note on it. That was strange, her parents
couldn't read or write. But Louise could. Her welled in her eyes as she read it.
'Your parents are gone'
Louise brushed the tears away. It was a prank. It was a joke. It was
something, but not what was written. But Louise couldn't deny the truth.
Her parents were always getting in trouble with the govermaent. They
often forgot to pay taxes, and sometimes they couldn't pay. They were
in jail. They would get no more chances.
Louis glanced sadly at the note, and she glanced at the pitful
stare her house was in. She would make her parents pround, that she
was detirmined to do.

Let us all discover the trueness of parenthood.
