Prayer for Salvation
by James Aidoo-Baidoe Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your Word assures me that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and if I confess with my mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. You also said in your Word that my salvation would be the result of your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me and that if I would ask, you would fill me with your Spirit and give me the ability to speak with other tongues. I take you at your Word. So Heavenly Father, I now confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead. Thank you for coming into my heart and giving me your precious Holy Spirit as you have promised. I thank you for being Lord over my life and with your help I will lead a life that will glorify your Holy Name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
