Use real life testimonials from people in your church to reach the unchurched

If someone is not attending church, chances are they don't think church can do much for them. Maybe they are skeptical. More than likely, they just have no idea what God can do for them.
I recall that old spiritual hymn "What God has done for others he will do for you" when you use a personal testimonies it gives more creditability to the claims of the church.
Why should I trust in Jesus Christ and the claims of the church? Because Christ changes lives, and your personal testimonies prove that.

How many people in your congregation have been delivered from alcoholism and drug Addiction, domestic violence a bad smoking habit ? How many people in your
congregation have better marriages, stronger kids, closer relationships, fellowship with God, a sense of meaning and purpose because they are involved with a local church.

Your neighbors are crying out for help for a better life remember what your life was like before you met the Lord, and guess what you have that better life they are looking for it's called a relationship with Jesus Christ.

How to get started
Create a small form call it what the lord has done for me ask your Congregation for brief testimonials of what the Lord has done in their lives keep it short one or two paragraphs let them know it may be used for public display. Next pick out eye catching testimonials and use them in flyers with an invitation to attend your next church service. Somewhere on the flyer have a statement something like this " If your hurting from life's problems and would like to receive a blessing from the Lord just like these people have call" leave church name or Pastors name and phone number. If you talk to people in person make sure to offer to pray with them. Make sure that you use eye catching testimonials in all your church advertising.
