Prayer for Protection
by Jessica Gerald Dear Lord, I lift my loved ones up to you. I pray that you would keep us from all harm. Watch over our lives. Watch over our coming and going, both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121:7,8) Enable us to make you, the Most High, our dwelling. Be our refuge. Don't let any harm befall us, or any disaster come near our home. (Psalm 91:9,10) Don't let us fear bad news. Make our hearts steadfast, trusting in you. (Psalm 112:7) Spread your protection over us, Father, because we love your name and rejoice in you. Bless us and surround us with your favor as a shield. (Psalm 5:11) Enable us to live in safety, and let no one make us afraid. (Ezekiel 34:28) Cause all of our family members to listen to you. Make us live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. (Proverbs 1:33) Let no weapon formed against us be able to prosper. (Isaiah 54:17) Send your ministering angels to protect us. (Hebrews 1:14) Send your angels to encamp around us and deliver us. (Psalm 34:7) Be a wall of fire around us, and our glory within. (Zechariah 2:5) Be a shield around us. Bestow glory on us, and lift up our heads. (Psalm 3:3) May we all love you, Lord, our strength. Be our rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, stronghold, and horn of our salvation. May we take refuge in you. (Psalm 18:2) Please keep your eyes upon us, and be attentive to our prayers.
