‘Mind your own business!’
Cutting remarks knock us down a notch or two; there are advantages from the falling. The decent forces us to look up to Christ and search our hearts. What is our business? What does the Lord want us to do? He’s in the business of saving souls.
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10 NASB).”
What should I consider as essential in expanding His business? What should you?
Jesus gave us a clear command.
“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. ‘Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:18-20 NASB).”
We’re in the business of inviting (recruiting) others to carry out the business of expanding His Kingdom.
“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15 NASB).”
Will I go; will I show His love?
