Share Your Testimony

"[1]We have heard with our ears, O God, Our fathers have told us, The deeds You did in their days, In days of old:
[2]You drove out the nations with Your hand, But them You planted; You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out.
[3]For they did not gain possession of the land by their sword, Nor did their arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance Because You favored them." Psalm 44(New King James Version, NKJV)

The above portion of the Psalm is a testimony of God's goodness to His people and how he demonstrated His strength in the lives of His own. It was a testimony handed over to a generation of children by their fathers.

This testimony was able to strengthen their confidence and faith in the Lord God of their fathers. It became a very good reference point to boldly approach God to do again what He had done before because He remains the same forever.

Believe it, the Lord will never put those who trust Him to shame, no matter what happens!

Beloved reader, has the Lord been good to you at any point in time in your journey of life? Have you enjoyed His presence in great ways? Have experienced His strength and might in the battles of your life? Has he fought and won your battles without your input? Has He met your needs in various ways and at different times in the past?

If your answer to the above questions or part of them is 'yes!', then you have a strong testimony(ies) to share with your children to show them that you are serving a Living God Who is enough to meet all their needs. It will build their confidence and trust in the Lord your God. They will have the assurance that if they call on Him, He will always answer them.

Do not fail to share your testimony with your children. By so doing, you are building their future relationship with the Lord. You are giving them a strong foundation on which to build their faith life.

If you have been doing so before now, do not fail to continue. If you have not started, begin today so that your children will be able to say, "The Lord that my father/mother is serving can deliver me from any affliction."

May the Lord bless you and your household in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is coming soon.
