Who’s chief cook in your galley? Some men never make their way into the kitchen to cook. They’d abandon ship if the wife wasn’t aboard. I can hear a hungry husband complaining to his wife...
‘Why didn’t you plan ahead? You could have prepared meals and left food for me in the freezer!
Yet, other men not only cook; they actually excel. Personally, I hate to cook but my hubby leaves the duty to me. After finishing the chore, I place our meals on the table and let him know it’s ready. I quickly grow irritable when I have to wait for him to come and eat.
The LORD has prepared so much for me; to my fault, I often fail to partake in his bounty.
"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen , O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him (Isaiah 64:4 KJV Bible)."
Visualize the LORD standing over all that He’s prepared. He waits for us to come and receive the abundant life.
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10b KJV).”
I eagerly await Jesus' promised return and His prepared marriage supper.
“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9a KJV).”
