yet, it’s like I’m the only one;

I can never understand

Your profound mysteries,

even set before the worlds begun.

Millions, they gather round You;

looking up before Your Throne,

so I consider it a miraculous privilege,

to have You all to myself,

standing aside the seeds I’ve sown.

And having You all to myself

brings me such joy;

I cannot contain,

soaring in the ordinary,

I rejoice, even in the plain.

Your Ways are so astounding,

I cannot hide my wonder from the fold,

and it never does seem to matter;

joy never does seem to be growing old.

And, I wish I could shout it from

the rooftops, how good it is to

Know the One True LORD;

Who is always with His children

walking hand in hand,

in one beautiful accord."
