Call A Solemn Assembly

"[22]And they said, “Cornelius the centurion, a just man, one who fears God and has a good reputation among all the nation of the Jews, was divinely instructed by a holy angel to summon you to his house, and to hear words from you.” Acts 10

"[24]And the following day they entered Caesarea. Now Cornelius was waiting for them, and *had called together his relatives and close friends.*" Acts 10.

Cornelius was a very religious man with all members of his household and loved to give alms, vs 2. He is religious to the point that an Angel spoke to him but something remains missing, the words of salvation. This was the reason an Angel instructed him to invite the man of the Word, Apostle Peter, to share the words of salvation with him.

Do you know what the man did? He called a solemn assembly incorporating his relatives and close friends to hear the words together so that they would all be saved on the same day at the same time. Did this come to pass?

"[44]While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word." Acts 10.

An assembly of people was saved on the same day without any exception. The joy in heaven will be indescribable!

Beloved, if Cornelius was able to make the Angels in Heaven rejoice because of the salvation of his people, you can do the same. They heard the words, received the Holy Spirit, and were baptized.

May the Lord give you the grace and wisdom to do the same in Jesus' mighty name. The Lord is coming soon.
