LIVING FOR SUNDAY
by linzy bruno
The church of God has taken me in, and that’s why I live before His Throne; for Jesus was buried, but rose to Life, as they learned by rolling away the stone.
So now I’m living for Sunday, with Him always in complete charge, some folks saying that’s far too much OH, how they misunderstand what it means to live large!
So, today and every day of the week I look to Him first for this is all I have come to crave, for He has captivated my senses and overtaken my heart, much like He has conquered the grave!
Oh, what if everyone lived for Sunday What a wonderous world we would see! Everyone treating one another in love oh, what a wonderful world this would be!
And if all of mankind were living for Sunday, the streets would stay safe, day and night; doors would always stand open, and far away would be all reason for fright.
And if all of mankind were living for Sunday, the sun would, perhaps shine in new ways; all of creation, like on holiday, would glisten like a new old-fashioned day.
The church of God has taken me in and that’s why I live before His Throne, for Jesus was buried, but rose to Life, as they learned by rolling away the stone.
