2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

What are the chances of you winning the lottery? According to the UK National Lottery website, the odds of matching all six numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 45,057,474. That’s pretty slim, I’d say. Barry McGuire, a popular Christian songwriter from the 80s, wrote a song entitled, I Don't Believe in Luck…

But I don't believe in luck
I believe in Jesus
I don't believe in chance
I believe in Him
I don't believe in luck
I believe in Jesus
And life is more than heads you lose
And tails you win.

Jesus said, “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask him.” What role does chance play in our lives as Christian believers? Your God who is and who was and who is to come, knows your beginning and your end and everything in between. Your God is the Creator of the universe. He created every ounce of gold, every precious gem and every rich ingredient of life. Listen to God’s word to you today, “My God will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” He knows your needs before you even ask him and your Father will provide your daily bread.

I don’t believe in fate, I believe in faith. My life is not fatalistic it is faith-realistic! God’s word tells me that he knows the plans he has for me and if I acknowledge him in all my ways, he will keep me on track with his plans. And God will meet all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore, I walk by faith and not by fate because life is more than heads you lose and tails you win.

God-tracking is
faith-realistic.

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY

“I repent of gambling with fate and make a choice today to wake by faith in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord.”

“Ah, Father in heaven, thank you so much that you have my needs in hand. Thank you that you give me my daily bread and meet all my needs according to your glorious riches in Christ. I confess that I am in Christ, therefore I am in the same place as your glorious riches. Forgive me for ever taking a chance in life. I repent of gambling with fate and make a choice today to walk by faith in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Your kingdom come and your will be done. Amen.”
