If you are depressed or suffer from excessive use of other social media* addiction, do not turn to these platforms for help. The current rate of depression for heavy users is from 13% to 65% over light users. If this could be what has made you depressed, turn to God and ask for help, comfort and healing.for help and comfort to break the cause of your depression.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” (Ps 73:26).
If you have found yourself to be constantly having to defend yourself from harmful gossip, don't retaliate with counter-gossip, just call upon God who is a strength can shield you.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Ps 147:3)
If you cannot see your dreams ever being fulfilled, if you have a right heart, ask God to give you a real purpose for your life.
"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you" James 4:8, NKJV
If you feel you have no true friends, turn to God, and He will turn to you.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ". 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NIV
If you are addicted to any substance abuse, social media platforms, or pornography**, etc, call upon God, and he can give you comfort and the ability for you to comfort others in your same situation.
