MY GOD, I DON'T CARE
by linzy bruno
My God, I don’t care if I don’t see perfectly, but please let me to always see.
And I don’t care if I don’t hear perfectly, but please let me to always hear.
And I don’t care if I don’t run a mile a minute, but please let me to always walk.
And I don’t care if I’m not the life of the party, but please let me to always talk.
And I don’t care if my muscles are tight, but please let me to always move.
And I don’t care if my stomach growls, but please let me to always eat.
And I don’t care if my throat goes dry, but please let me to always drink.
Because I don’t care if I’m not in perfect health, but please let my heart to always beat.
Unless of course, it’s time for me to go, and if so my God, please let me leave this life in peace.
