Prescription drug advertising has taken over the lead in television commercials. It seems they claim a remedy for every known aliment to man. Sadly, the list of possible side effects may surpass the remedy.

God offered the real remedy repeatedly; His people scoffed.

“And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:

But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy (2 Chronicles 36:15-16 KJV).’

Sin is fatal; we have transgressed God’s law. Is there a remedy?

Yes; the LORD is merciful. He removes our sin.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:12 KJV).”

With grace God not only removed my sin; He put it on His sinless Son.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV).”
