Is it a match made in heaven?
Your heart begins to flutter and you get a spring in your step. This just might be that special someone. Fondness becomes affection as you dare to hope. Will this finally be the one at your side for the rest of our life?
You seek assurance of a lasting commitment. Are you seeking God’s guidance; are they? Is His hand in your relationship? Has He prepared this person as your mate? Is it a relationship with His blessing?
Be very sure. You might instead fall into the trap of temptation to satisfy your own selfish desires.
God knew precisely what and who Adam needed.
“And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him (Genesis 2:18 KJV).”
God knows what is best for each of us.
“And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh (Genesis 2:22-24 KJV).”
God brought the first couple together. We can trust Him; it’s worth the wait.
