Follow the leader has been a favorite youngster’s game for generations. By grace, we are the LORD’s children. He leads in triumph; we follow!
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing: to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things (2 Corinthians 2:14-16 NASB)? ”
Through Scripture, we follow our triumphant leader Jesus into Jerusalem.
“And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. Now as He was going, they were spreading their cloaks on the road. And as soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, shouting:
“Blessed is the King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord;
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest (Luke 19:35-38 NASB).”
Stay in step.
“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way (Psalm 37:23 NASB).”
