Brethren Like An Unbeliever
by Olawale Ogunsola It is unavoidable to do no wrong to one another in a relationship, especially among members of the family of God for many reasons. When a wrong takes place, how to handle it is very important to avoid the loss of a member of the family of God. Saints should not cease to demonstrate God's love to one another. Therefore, every trespass must be dealt with carefully. To God be the glory for the Living Manual, the Holy Bible, which contains all the truth needed to live a successful life. It contains the best ways to effectively deal with every affair of men. On the best way to resolve a matter that involves a brother's wrongdoing to another brother, the steps to take are as follows: Private Settlement. Jesus Christ teaches, Reasoning together can solve issues among brethren for peace to reign. For many reasons, one-on-one discussions sometimes fail. Further steps should be taken to seek and pursue peace (Psalms 34:14) among the brethren. What is the Biblical recommendation from the mouth of the Lord? Involve Witness(s). In an attempt to resolve any strife, you can invite others to come in to settle it so that it will be possible to gain a brother so that Brotherly love can continue. A brother can become a recalcitrant. When this happens, there is a way recommended by the Lord in the Scriptures. Report To The Church. Treat Tim As An Unbeliever. It is an unbeliever who will not hear the Spirit of God in the lives of people of God because he doesn't know Him. It is an unbeliever who will not listen to "The Bible says..." from the people of God in that he does not recognize the Holy Bible as the word of God to be obeyed. It is only an unbeliever who is absolutely under the control of the flesh. Therefore, anytime a brethren chooses to behave like an unbeliever, he should be treated so. NOTE.
