Don't Give Up--God's Word IS Always Working!
by Tonja Taylor And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.--Galatians 6:9, ESV One of the most powerful ways we can change our lives and others after we are born again by believing in the LORD Jesus Christ as our Savior and LORD, is to speak His Word aloud every day! The enemy lies and says we are wasting our time, but he is scared--because God's Word cannot NOT work! When all else is gone, God's Word will live! Daily for years, I have rehearsed the Word of God, in my heart as I read, and out loud. There have been many times the enemy has shot darts about how I'm wasting my time, etc. etc. Those are lies, because the Word of God always works! 10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering the earth, making it bud and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, 11 so My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.--Isaiah 55:10-11, Berean Standard Bible God our Father (once we have truly believed in and received the LORD Jesus as our Savior and LORD) is always listening to us, watching over us, protecting and guiding us, and otherwise helping us. He loves it when we speak His Word, for that gives Him more opportunity to act in our lives: Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” --Jeremiah 1:12 AMP His holy angels are also listening for His Word in our mouths, to help us know and fulfill God's will:Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, That do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.--Psalm 103:20 KJV It may not be agreed with or received or believed, but the Word always works; never does it return empty, but accomplishes that for which God sends it--if the conditions of the "soil" are right! The "soil" is our hearts and souls (minds, wills, emotions). 2 And He taught them many things in parables, and in His teaching He said, 3 Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed 4 And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. 5 Some fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings, and they yielded no crop. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it sprouted, grew up, and produced a crop—one bearing thirtyfold, another sixtyfold, and another a hundredfold.”--Mark 4:2-8, Berean Standard Bible One thing I'm becoming more aware of is that we cannot go by feelings. Feelings are not faith. Faith is trust. Faith is a force that comes from our spirits; our hearts; the inner core of us, where the Holy Spirit Who is God abides. Remembering how God has answered our prayers before; how He's delivered us from so much already--and He is (be assured!) working on the rest, to free us and heal and deliver and restore us! We are His precious kids, and He watches over us by His Spirit and His holy angels, 24/7. He is the ultimate perfect Parent! Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.--Isaiah 40:28, ESV Hallelujah! 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? --Romans 8:31, Berean Standard Bible Reading and speaking the Word is never a waste of time! Go for it! God will help you! But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.--I Peter 1:25, NLT Through books, courses, presentations, service, prayer, worship, and more, Tonja and her husband live to exalt God.
